The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, February 4, reveal that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrived at the cabin to see Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
As it turned out, the kids were with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), and that gave Brooke and Hope a chance to talk. Brooke opined that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was to blame for everything.
“One night and everything’s different,” Hope lamented. Brooke thought that Hope had an infinite capacity to forgive and to love, and Hope said that she hoped Brooke was right. Hope continued, saying that with the paternity test, it felt like time had stopped. Hope then left to go to main house. Brooke sighed unhappily.
Meanwhile, up at the main house, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was looking for Beth Spencer’s (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) doll when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) walked into the room.
Liam wondered when Thomas was moving back to his apartment. “And away from Hope, you mean,” Thomas said dryly.
“You think I’m still obsessed with Hope,” Thomas continued. Liam said that he thought Thomas’ recent turnaround was all a facade, and that talking about this with Thomas wasn’t helping.
Thomas pointed out that this was all Liam’s doing – after all, he’s the one who got himself in Steffy’s bed rather than talking things through with Hope that night.
As Thomas was asking how Hope felt about all this, Hope walked in the side door. Hope said that she didn’t know how she felt, and that her mind kept going back to that night.
Hope said that she prayed that the baby was John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan). Hope continued, saying that she wasn’t sure how forgiving she could be.
Liam said that he needed to be honest, too, and that there was nothing that he could say to prove to Hope that they won’t end up back here again. Liam said that he had to earn that with a lifetime of actions, and that he’d just ask for the chance to prove that he’s worth forgiving.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy talked business in the CEO office. Then Steffy broached an uncomfortable topic. “There’s something I need to tell you, and I hope you won’t be disappointed in me,” Steffy said.
Steffy disclosed how she and Liam slept together on the evening that Liam saw Thomas with the mannequin.
Ridge asked if Hope knew, and he learned that Brooke knew about it, too. Steffy then told Ridge that it was going to be impossible to put that night behind them. “I’m pregnant, Dad,” Steffy said. “And you think this could be Liam’s baby,” Ridge said knowingly.
Over in the design office, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) rushed in and demanded that Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) hang up her business call.
“We’re going to have this out right now,” Zoe fumed, explaining that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was about to write her off forever and that Ridge found her with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) at the mansion.
Paris said that she was sorry. “No, you’re not,” Zoe said. “You’re the one who went to Ridge and told him I was with Zende.” Paris of course denied this, and Zoe continued to rant that her life was in shambles. Paris pointed out that Zoe’s behavior with Carter was awful. “Don’t judge me!” Zoe said.
Zoe said that she actually cared about Carter and wanted a life with him. “Sure, as soon as you knew a life with Zende wasn’t an option,” Paris pointed out. Zoe blasted Paris for not giving her a heads-up that Ridge was on his way to the mansion.
“I texted you,” Paris said incredulously. “You could have done more!” Zoe insisted. “But you didn’t and that hurts a lot.”
