The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 6, reveals Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was proud of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for how he handled the news of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) moving back in with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
That kind of thing might’ve prompted an over-the-top reaction in the past, so Ridge was pleased to see how far his son had come.
“Yeah, he seems to be coming a long way,” Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) said unconvincingly. Although Brooke was having a bit more faith in Thomas, she was still focused on Hope and Liam’s relationship.
Brooke wanted everything to be right for them, but Ridge shifted the conversation to the issues in Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) marriage to Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
Brooke was delighted to hear about Quinn and Eric’s relationship troubles, so Ridge objected to his wife’s glee over the drama. “You know how I feel about her! She’s horrible!” Brooke argued. When Ridge admitted the problems stemmed from the bedroom, Brooke was even more thrilled.
When Eric walked in on Thursday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, he sensed that something was up. Ridge confessed that he gave Brooke updates on Eric and Quinn’s marriage issues, so Eric confessed it was confusing to still love Quinn so much and not want to touch her.
Eric wished he could flip the switch, but he wasn’t sure things would ever go back to how they were before.
Brooke argued that Eric should set up a romantic evening so that he could get swept away again. Eric suggested it was a temporary setback, though it was as “frustrating as hell.” He appreciated all the support, especially considering Brooke would prefer getting Quinn off the canvas altogether.
Brooke admitted that would be a great outcome to her, but she didn’t think wishing Quinn out of their lives mattered if Eric wanted to give his wife another chance. She was adamant that she wanted Eric to be happy – even if it was with Quinn.
Eric hadn’t given up on his future entirely, but he didn’t know how things were going to unfold. He decided to go home and see if anything had changed. Once Brooke was alone with Ridge, she made it clear she wouldn’t mind if Eric dumped Quinn.
Meanwhile, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) had a flashback of a steamy moment with Quinn. Zoe sensed a change in Carter since Quinn went to his loft. She noted that Quinn could be intense and off-putting, so she hoped that Quinn hadn’t said or done anything to make matters worse.
Zoe just figured that since her apologies hadn’t gotten anywhere, it’d be good to send Quinn in considering how persuasive she could be. Zoe also played up Quinn as Eric’s wife and pointed out how much Carter respected Eric as well as Ridge.
Carter looked nervous as Zoe kept talking about how much Quinn believed in them. Zoe insisted that Quinn knew what was in her heart and was Eric’s wife. Zoe also felt like Carter was the only man for her and she was the only woman for him, but Carter couldn’t shake his thoughts of Quinn.

At the Forrester mansion on Thursday’s B&B episode, Shauna couldn’t understand how Quinn ended up in another man’s bed when she loved Eric so much and just got him back.
Quinn insisted it had been frustrating since Eric didn’t want to touch her. She whined about how Eric pretended to be asleep when she came to bed and wondered what she was supposed to do.
“Um, I don’t know…wait?! Be true to your wedding vows?!” Shauna exclaimed on Thursday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Quinn insisted it was just something that happened and that it kills her that she betrayed her husband. She explained that this guy was going through the same experience, so they made a connection and one thing led to another.
Quinn called what happened between them incredible and mind-blowing, so Shauna decided she was done scolding her bestie. “I want a name,” Shauna said. She added that she was always going to support Quinn and defended what was an honest reaction to her bestie’s cheating.
Quinn insisted it was just one time – or one time “collectively” anyway. She insisted she was actually trying to help this guy reunite with his ex-fiancée. Quinn admitted to spending time with this man at the urging of his ex and forming an unexpected, beautiful connection. She argued that they agreed it could never happen again.
After swearing Shauna to secrecy, Quinn revealed that Carter Walton was the man she was referring to. “Carter? Carter who works at Forrester? Ridge’s best friend, Carter?” Shauna said in shock.
Quinn assured Shauna that she loved her husband and refused to let one night ruin her marriage. Suddenly, Eric entered after overhearing and pushed Quinn to tell him what happened while he was gone. He wanted to know what Quinn did that could ruin their marriage, so Quinn was left in a tight spot!
