The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 6, reveals that Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) fumed over the affair lie before catching a flight to Paris – and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) pondered a missing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) mystery.
At Spencer Publications on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) kept pushing Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) to explain what he was doing with Thomas’ phone.
Justin claimed that Thomas left it behind when he came by for some follow-up Eye on Fashion questions. He added that Thomas left town and didn’t say where he was going.
That news upset Hope since it didn’t make sense for Thomas to not give her a heads-up. Talk turned to Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) case since Hope was hoping for evidence to clear his name.
Justin seemed distracted and encouraged Hope to leave so he could get back to work. He assured Hope that he’d get Thomas’ phone back to him and take care of the legal defense strategy, too.
In his cell, Liam paced around and got himself all worked up over his bleak situation. He was still struggling to figure out why Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) would’ve been on the road that night.
Thomas was also frustrated in his cage, where he kept shouting and insisting that Hope needed to know the truth.
Hope eventually paid Liam a visit in jail, where Liam insisted he had to get back to his family. Liam couldn’t stop thinking about how strange it was for Vinny of all people to just appear in front of the car.
Liam added that he didn’t intentionally run down Vinny or cover it up. “I’m not going down for this! I’m not!” Liam declared. After Hope mentioned her visit to Justin, she offered another pep talk to Liam in hopes of keeping him strong.
Ridge was one proud grandpa when he stopped by the cliff house to meet Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) new son. When Ridge learned his name was Hayes, he thought that was perfect.
Ridge filled Steffy and Finn in on the vow renewal drama, so Steffy guessed that if Eric Forrester (John McCook) closed the door on Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) for good – then something good came out of it.
However, Ridge just wanted Finn and Steffy to concentrate on the miracle they’d brought into the world.
Since Thomas hadn’t been around with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) yet, that surprised Ridge.
Steffy suggested Thomas was probably just busy, but Ridge didn’t think Thomas would be too busy for the nephew he was excited about. He felt like something just wasn’t adding up.
At Forrester Creations, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) kept going on and on about how she didn’t want to spoil her sister’s happiness or hurt her.
Zoe just wanted Paris to come out with whatever it was she needed to say, so Paris admitted Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) lied.
Paris explained that Shauna claimed the jacket was hers to cover for Quinn, who actually slept with Carter.
Zoe was in disbelief at first, but Paris revealed that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) gave Carter and Quinn a chance to own their truth at the ceremony earlier.
Paris added that Carter took it and came clean to Eric.
Zoe wondered how Brooke even knew and reeled when she realized Paris confirmed it to her. She ranted about Paris knowing all this time, but Paris pointed out that Carter and Quinn begged her not to say anything.
Paris now wished she’d confessed to Zoe as soon as she overheard Quinn and Shauna talking.
Zoe was outraged since Quinn was supposed to be helping and was sleeping with Carter instead. Even so, Paris argued this didn’t have to be the end for Zoe and Carter.
She nudged Zoe in the direction of forgiveness and pointed out that Carter was broken up with Zoe at the time.
Zoe argued that Quinn was still a married woman – and that Eric was like family to Carter. She didn’t even know Carter was capable of that kind of betrayal.
Paris still felt like Carter was deeply regretful and that he never stopped loving Zoe.
Zoe had to catch her flight, but she thought it’d be good to have hours and hours to sort out her feelings on the way to Paris. She thanked Paris for telling her the truth and added that it was better late than never.
Paris wanted to be sure they were good, so Zoe promised they were and gave her sister a hug goodbye. As Zoe left, she looked at Paris rather somberly before closing the door.
Tuesday was Kiara Barnes’ final airdate as Zoe, so it’s a shame we won’t get to see Zoe face off with Carter or Quinn! We’ll bring you updates as other B&B details become available.
