The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, August 20, teases that Jack Finnegan’s (Ted King) buried secret will be ready to blow – and Sheila Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will reject an order to leave LA. Let’s talk about some tense moments and how they’ll affect what’s ahead for John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) family.
Jack was hoping they’d all seen the last of Sheila, but his concerns are on the rise again thanks to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Since the Forresters are still on edge, Jack will decide he’d better corner Sheila and warn her to keep her distance.
Of course, Sheila will feel like she deserves to be in Finn and Hayes Forrester Finnegan’s lives. She’ll want to stick around and override the Forresters’ decision to ban her, but B&B spoilers say Jack will maintain that Sheila has to butt out.
There’ll be talk of their previous agreement along with Jack’s demand for Sheila to get out of Los Angeles.
Jack will think Sheila knows this is what’s best, but she’ll completely disagree and will have no intention of leaving Finn now that she’s connected with him.
When Jack stands his ground on trying to force Sheila out of LA, she’ll argue that she’s staying and there’s nothing he can do about it.
This will be the perfect opportunity for Sheila to allude to something else Jack hasn’t told his fam – something huge that’d change the way Finn and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) look at him forever.
Whether Sheila puts it all out there just yet or not, there’s indeed another secret that ties Jack and Sheila together.
Jack slept with Sheila and got her pregnant, so he’s the biological father who pretended to be the adoptive dad instead.
This was apparently a cheating cover-up, though the details will be hazy and complicated at this point in the story.
There’ll be more of an explanation in the coming episodes, but Sheila will at least allude to her leverage and how she’s going to exploit it.
At the Forrester mansion, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) will try to settle back into her old life as Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) wife.
However, Quinn may find that she feels out of place despite the second chance she’s been given. It’ll be hard to take this step backward when Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is still on Quinn’s mind.
Carter will be in a similar boat as faces his own new beginning. It’ll be a disappointing one since Carter previously expected to have a future with Quinn, but he’ll try to hang in there.
All Carter can do right now is lick his wounds and hope that time will heal them.
