The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, May 13, teases Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will lie during Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) interrogation while Eric Forrester (John McCook) offers a surprise to guilty Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
B&B fans know Eric’s heart has been softening toward Quinn lately. Although Eric was hurt by Quinn’s actions and has found it difficult to rebuild trust, he feels she’s been patient and loyal.
Eric will want to reward that and start trying to meet Quinn’s needs since he assumes she’s been without intimacy all this time.
Quinn indeed went without lovemaking for quite some time, but she’s recently been hitting the sheets with Carter. Since Eric isn’t aware of Quinn’s betrayal, he’ll make an official decision about his relationship.
It seems the slate will be wiped clean completely, so Eric may plan a romantic setup and hope to initiate some time in the bedroom once Quinn comes home.
Eric will view this as a fresh start in his marriage, but Quinn will have a big cheating secret to keep – one that’s becoming more complicated by the second!
Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) moved toward Quinn’s jacket when B&B last left off, so Zoe suspects Shauna’s the one who’s been hooking up with Carter.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Zoe will push Shauna for answers first, so it looks like Shauna will indeed take the blame before hightailing it out of there.
Shauna will mostly let Carter handle Zoe, who’ll apparently grill her ex-fiancé about how he wound up with Quinn’s bestie in his bed.
This won’t make any sense to Zoe at all, but Carter will apparently have to lie his way through this grilling session and hope Zoe buys the story.
Shauna will make a new enemy out of Zoe, but she’ll be glad she could help Quinn avoid a catastrophe. Quinn will no doubt thank Shauna for having her back. She’ll definitely owe Shauna a favor, so we’ll see if Shauna collects one down the road.
In the meantime, Quinn will likely head back to the Forrester mansion and find that surprise we mentioned. Eric is poised to open the door to trust and intimacy again, so Quinn will feel a burst of relief followed by more remorse.
She’ll also know the stakes are higher than ever now, so Quinn will just hope this web of deception holds together.
