The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, May 27, tease that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) heart will break over Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) worst fear while Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) weaves a tangled web of deception.
At Forrester Creations on Thursday’s episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will struggle to wrap his head around Carter’s hookup partner. Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) is taking the blame for Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) to protect her marriage – and that works out well for Carter since he doesn’t want the truth to come out either.
Carter’s job and friendship with the Forrester family would be on the line if everyone knew he actually slept with Quinn. However, that means Ridge will find himself baffled over Carter’s other woman.
Carter has reunited with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), but Ridge will be stuck on what happened with Shauna. He’ll find it strange that Shauna and Carter hit it off, so he’ll have plenty of questions that are difficult for Carter to answer.
Nothing happened between Carter and Shauna at all, so Carter will have to be careful not to get tripped up with the details. Ridge considers Carter a close pal, so may wonder why Carter didn’t admit to this sooner.
Perhaps Carter will act like he was worried about Ridge’s reaction since Shauna was part of Quinn’s plot to break up Ridge’s marriage. Nevertheless, Ridge and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) are back on track now, so Ridge won’t hold a grudge.
He’ll just think Carter and Shauna sound like a weird bedroom duo, but Carter will do his best to offer a story that satisfies Ridge.
As for Liam and Hope, they’ll follow through on their decision to make this evening together a celebration of love. Hope and Liam will voice their deep feelings for each other as they cling to whatever time they have left.
Since Liam hasn’t made a firm decision about whether he’s going to confess or not, there’ll be a dark cloud of uncertainty hanging over them.
Hope will open up about how terrified she is of losing her husband and the father of her children – maybe even for good. It’ll break Liam’s heart as Hope confesses her worst fear, but they’ll both know the guilt’s going to keep eating away at Liam if he doesn’t come clean.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say this is all building to Liam’s fateful choice – one that leads to him taking responsibility for Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death despite Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) wishes. We’ll deliver updates as other B&B news emerges.
