The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 18, teases that Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) will snub Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) by making a vow to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Meanwhile, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) will struggle to let Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) go.
At the cliff house, B&B fans will see who just showed up out of the blue. Although Paris feared that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) might’ve been at the door, it’ll probably just be Jack Finnegan (Ted King) or someone else who’ll leave Finn breathing a sigh of relief.
Although Finn felt an automatic connection to Sheila when he first met her, he knows it’s for the best if they stay apart. Finn doesn’t want Steffy to be any more agitated than she already is over this whole situation.
That’s why Finn chose to keep Sheila’s text – and the heart emoji he texted back – under wraps. Paris gets where Finn is coming from and will promise not to bring Steffy in the loop, but it’s not a good idea for either one to keep secrets like this.
Steffy’s bound to feel betrayed when the truth comes out down the road. Since Steffy is Paris’ boss, it could make things awkward if Steffy feels snubbed.
Steffy opened her home to Paris just as much as Finn did, so you could argue she deserves an equal amount of loyalty.
It’s inappropriate for Paris to be keeping secrets with Steffy’s husband anyway, so this seems like a recipe for disaster.
Speaking of disasters, Quinn’s facing a romantic one now that Eric Forrester (John McCook) is backing out of the divorce.
Eric is ready for a new chapter with Quinn, but going along with that plan means giving up on the chapter Quinn planned with Carter.
It won’t be easy to walk away from Carter when he accepts Quinn for who she is and believes she’s worthy of all the love he has to give.
Quinn feels respected and cared for in a way she never has before, but she also feels drawn to Eric and this second chance she’s been given.
This is all building to an exchange of love professions and plenty of tears as Quinn prepares to let Carter go.
That won’t be an easy task, but Quinn will eventually move forward with Eric in the coming episodes. As other B&B news pops up, we’ll deliver more updates.
