The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, February 17, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will hope John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) willing to stay together.
Finn’s been distraught over the news that Steffy’s having a second child with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), especially since Finn already thought of himself as the baby’s father.
Steffy was begging Finn not to give up on her in Tuesday’s episode, February 16. She truly doesn’t want to lose Finn, so he’ll tell Steffy where he stands on Wednesday.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will decide the fate of ‘SINN’ and will stick with Steffy, but he’ll point out that they have a lot to work through now. The future path won’t be easy, but Finn will be willing to hang in there and try to tackle their new baby issues together.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), on the other hand, doesn’t seem hopeful at all about moving forward with Liam as a couple. Liam will keep pleading since he loves Hope and wants to keep their family intact.
However, Liam really should’ve thought about that before he slept with Steffy and made another baby with her.
Liam will resolve to keep the faith when it comes to his future with Hope – at least for now. B&B spoilers say Liam won’t throw in the towel just yet, but he might have no choice down the road.
In the meantime, the paternity results news will start to spread. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) will be back in LA for a medical conference, so she’ll get some shocking updates during this trip.
It looks like Bridget will hear the whole mannequin and “Steam” cheating story – along with the fact that Steffy’s now pregnant. Once the paternity news makes it back to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), they’ll both be disappointed.
Ridge and Brooke will know this is going to cause even more issues for Steffy, Finn, Liam and Hope.
Bridget will be there to support Brooke during this difficult time, but Brooke will still worry about how her daughter’s going to cope. Hope is obviously in major crisis mode right now, so Brooke will hate that it turned out Liam was the father.
Of course, Liam most likely isn’t the real “baby daddy,” especially since Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) showed up with a white lab coat on his arm and mentioned a new job.
Vinny wants Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to have a real shot with Hope, so it seems he changed the results to make sure Finn didn’t seem like the dad.
Now “Lope” is imploding and that could give Thomas the opening he needs to win Hope for himself – at least that’s how Vinny sees it. Thomas has already insisted that he wants the baby to be Finn’s, but he might receive word of Steffy’s results and relay the news to Vinny.
If Vinny’s behind the test tampering as he seems to be, he won’t be surprised. Vinny may start arguing that fate is on Thomas’ side here. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Vinny will fight hard to make sure Thomas takes full advantage of this opportunity to pursue Hope.
Thomas will maintain that Hope’s happiness is all he cares about, but Vinny will want Thomas to think about his own happiness. Vinny will see the potential for Thomas and Hope to have a blissful life together, but Thomas will stand against that idea for now.
Ridge will battle concerns about Vinny’s advice in the coming episodes, so he’ll definitely be keeping an eye on Thomas when it comes to any Hope pursuit.
