The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, February 3, teases that Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) will hope she can convince Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) she’s fully committed to him.
Furious Carter just asked if he’s really the man Zoe wants to marry. Carter’s livid following his conversation with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), but he’s hoping he can get Zoe’s side of the story.
Zoe will play dumb at first and insist that of course Carter’s the man she wants. She’ll pretend she’s in the dark on why Carter would even say such a thing.
Zoe will promise she’s all in on marrying Carter now, but he’ll call her out for making a move on Zende Forrester-Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
After Carter recaps what Ridge witnessed, he’ll want Zoe to tell him what happened in her own words. Zoe will try to deny that anything inappropriate went down – at least at first. Zoe will do her best to spin this, but Carter may argue that Ridge wouldn’t lie to him about something so serious.
Carter will sense from Zoe’s edgy behavior that she’s not being straight with him, so he’ll keep pushing for the truth. Once Carter finally wears Zoe down, she’ll make a tearful confession.
Zoe will beg Carter to understand that she hasn’t been treated well by men in the past. She’ll argue that it’s left her terrified of commitment, so that’s why she felt the need to explore a backup option like Zende.
However, Zoe will promise that she knows what she wants now – and what she wants is Carter. Unfortunately, Carter’s going to feel like Zoe only chose him because Zende rejected her.
The fact that Zoe had a backup option at all will really drive a stake through Carter’s heart.
Carter will be embarrassed since he’s been walking around so excited about his engagement to Zoe. He’ll also be hurt and angry over Zende’s involvement since he considers Zende a good friend.
Just because Zende turned Zoe down won’t matter much to Carter. He’ll feel like Zende should’ve come clean or shut this down back in the early flirting stages.
Nevertheless, it’ll be Zoe who faces the brunt of Carter’s fury. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Carter will wonder how Zoe could crush him like this. Carter was madly in love, but he’ll feel like Zoe threw it all away.
Zoe will argue that they can still have their happily ever after. She’ll make a desperate plea to save their future together, but Carter’s not going to be very open to that in this moment.
It sounds like Carter will either dump Zoe or walk out on her without telling her much either way. Zoe will have to deal with the consequences of her actions – and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will think Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) should face consequences as well.
That’s why Brooke will take it upon herself to track Steffy down and rip into her on Wednesday.
B&B fans can expect Brooke to blow up at Steffy over what Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) going through right now. Brooke will rant about Steffy reeling Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) in again, but Steffy will insist that’s not how it happened.
Steffy will refuse to let Brooke be a hypocrite since Brooke’s done plenty of cheating over the years.
Steffy will be sorry for the pain Hope’s in, but what’s done is done. The fact of the matter is Steffy’s pregnant now, so all they can do is hope this paternity test swings in John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) direction.
It looks like Finn may jump in and try to settle Brooke down, especially since too much stress isn’t good for the baby.
Even so, Steffy will manage to fire back at Brooke over her own history as well as Hope’s. Steffy isn’t the only one with a past full of mistakes, so she’ll remind Brooke of that.
