The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for week of August 2-6 teases that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will have a romantic gift for his bride, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will also end up feeling like sad wedding outcasts, so let’s discuss what’s coming up on the CBS soap.
Now that Steffy knows what Finn’s been hiding, they’re ready to wed without any secrets left between them. Finn’s adoption news allowed Steffy to breathe a sigh of relief.
There was so much buildup that Steffy was starting to think it was something truly terrible, but it wasn’t a big deal at all.
Steffy loves Finn and admires his adoptive parents for raising such a great man, so she’ll be sure to tell them so in the week ahead.
Jack Finnegan (Ted King) seemed to hit it off with Steffy just fine, but how will things go with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda)?
Li won’t be quite as laidback as Jack, but she should try to be cordial even if she’s cautious! Finn will be happy to finally introduce his mom to his bride-to-be – and that’ll set up a shocker that’ll surprise both the Finnegans and the Forresters.
Steffy and Finn will tell everyone who’ll listen that they want to marry right away, so a ceremony will be planned for later in the week. Before that ceremony begins, Steffy will pitch an idea to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Steffy will want to officially put their rivalry behind them, so it looks like Hope will be on board with serving as Steffy’s matron of honor.
Eric will also get a moving request when Steffy asks him to put Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) portrait back up.
B&B viewers know Stephanie was Steffy’s grandmother and namesake, so it’s fitting to have her picture in the room – almost like Stephanie can still be part of the wedding festivities.
Once everything is squared away, Finn will have a romantic gift for Steffy. It’ll be a relaxing night alone where Finn pampers his almost wife and gushes over what their future’s going to look like.
This passionate evening together will be a present on its own, but Finn might throw in another pre-wedding gift like jewelry if he wants to make it extra special.
Over with Quinn and Carter, they’ll distract each other since they’ll both be a bit bummed about not attending the nuptials.
Of course, nobody can blame Steffy and Finn for not inviting them! Quinn cheated on Steffy’s grandfather – and Carter was “the other man” in that whole situation.
Carter and Quinn will continue to see each other on the sly, so look for them to mope over being outcasts and then celebrate the fact that they still have this connection.
Nothing else matters when Quinn and Carter focus on the powerful bond between them.
The wedding will begin at the Forrester mansion later, but it’ll hit a snag when a mystery woman shows up. This could tie in with the secret Jack’s keeping and force it out into the open eventually.
This mystery lady might be a new girlfriend if Jack needs to offer some divorce updates. Finn’s birth mom is another option if Jack found out who she was ahead of this special event.
B&B will keep fans in suspense about who this woman is at first, so that’ll give Steffy and Finn an opportunity to get on with the ceremony.
It’s sure to be a gorgeous one as an officiant (Petri Hawkins Byrd) oversees the big day and helps make devoted Finn a husband to Steffy.
