The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 28, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) felt it was important to put her family back together, even if she still had some issues to work out with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) had no doubt that Hope and Liam would come out stronger on the other side.
Hope was beginning to think Brooke was right. For the first time in a long time, Hope was excited about her future with Liam. She wanted to put that awful night behind her and felt confident that Liam did, too.
Hope noted that the plan was for Liam to move back in right away. She thought it’d be good to get Liam out of Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) hair and home where he belonged.
Brooke was impressed over the way that Bill had stepped up for Liam, but she wasn’t surprised. “There is nothing Bill Spencer won’t do for his sons,” Brooke insisted on Wednesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
Next, Brooke grew curious about whether Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) had been around more with Liam out of the picture. Hope confirmed that was true since she asked Thomas to – and because it was helping Thomas with his grief. She promised Brooke that there were no ulterior motives on Thomas’ part.
Brooke thought that was good since she’d hate to think Thomas was taking advantage of Hope yet again. Hope reflected on the paternity test switching and how Vinny didn’t deserve to die all alone on the side of the road. “What kind of person does that?” Hope wondered.
Brooke thought it was unbelievable as well. She felt the person who left Vinny was cold and uncaring. Nevertheless, Brooke pushed Hope to focus on Liam’s homecoming and the fact that her family would be back together.
At Spencer Publications, Bill reiterated that it wasn’t in Liam’s nature to get as angry as Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) was suggesting. “I on the other hand…” Bill said, trying to swing Baker’s attention back his way.
Baker wouldn’t let up and asked if Liam did it – if he killed Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero). Bill piped up again to argue that it was ludicrous for Baker to come in there making accusations. Baker argued that it was a simple question, but Bill fired back that he already gave Baker the answer.
“He did not hunt down and kill Vinny!” Bill shouted. Baker wanted to hear it from Liam and asked him to confirm that he had nothing to do with the hit-and-run that took Vinny out.
Bill said they could clear this up once and for all. He asked if Liam got in his car, hunted Vinny down and killed him on purpose, so Liam replied no. Bill then asked if Liam wanted to kill Vinny, so Liam said “absolutely not.”
Baker suspiciously thanked Liam for his cooperation and insisted if Liam thought of anything that could help with the investigation, he knew where to find him. Once Liam and Bill were alone, Bill pushed Liam to relax. Liam insisted Baker would be back and argued that Bill knew it.
Bill countered that Vinny’s death was an accident, so Liam admitted he was trying to put all this behind him. He talked about how Hope wanted him back home – where he was normal and happy once upon a time.
Liam couldn’t ever go back to being the guy he was before, but Bill felt Liam had to pick up the pieces of his life and move on.
Bill insisted Liam had to be able to handle going back to live with Hope. “You can’t crack. The stakes are too high,” Bill warned.
It seemed impossible, but Liam thought Bill was right. He refused to bring that darkness into his children’s lives and knew he couldn’t let Hope get suspicious.
“I just hope nothing takes them away from me permanently,” Liam said about his wife and kids. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam has more snags in his future, so stay tuned for more cover-up drama.
Meanwhile on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) paid Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) a visit and found out Paris put in a good word for her with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
Paris noted that with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) fighting for Zoe too, “the poor guy won’t stand a chance.”
Carter spotted Quinn in the main office looking glum, but she didn’t want to keep dumping personal problems on him. However, Carter argued that he thought they were starting to be friends – and friends share stuff with each other.
Quinn admitted that she was scared since Eric Forrester (John McCook) had built such a huge wall up against her – one she wasn’t sure she could climb over. Carter suggested Quinn should perhaps just give Eric a little more time, but she feared she’d never be close to her husband again.
Quinn beat herself up for trying to hurt Brooke by marrying off Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). She wondered what she was thinking since she risked her relationship with her husband.
Carter assured Quinn that she hasn’t lost Eric yet, but Quinn worried that the intimacy in her marriage was a thing of the past.
Later on Wednesday’s episode of The Bold the Beautiful, Zoe fished to find out if Quinn had made any more progress with Carter. Quinn snapped at Zoe and insisted if she had something to report, then Zoe would be the first to know.
Zoe didn’t mean to be so pushy, but she really missed Carter – and Quinn understood that.
Zoe mentioned that she thought Carter went home for the evening. She thought maybe Quinn could pay Carter another visit since she really seemed to connect with him. Zoe really felt like Quinn could be her last hope.
Afterward, Zoe was pacing when Paris found her. Zoe admitted that she pretty much had to beg Quinn to stand up for her again, but she figured Quinn was with Carter by now.
At Carter’s loft on Wednesday’s B&B episode, he answered the door shirtless. “We seem to be making a habit of this,” Quinn said. She acknowledged that she kept dropping by unannounced and seeing Carter in various stages of undress – not that she was complaining.
Quinn admitted Carter had the best body she’d ever seen, so Carter thanked her for the ego boost.
