The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will have a hard time coping with the paternity test results. Finn will be forced to deal with the news that he’s not the father, which means Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is having another child with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Although Finn assured Steffy that they’d get through this no matter what, but is that a promise he can keep? Will Finn change his mind in the aftermath of the paternity results bombshell? Finn has no doubts about how much he loves Steffy and wants a life with her.
It’s just a matter of whether Finn can deal with Liam’s permanent spot in the picture.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will eventually reaffirm his commitment to Steffy – and he’ll be proactive in handling Liam, too. Finn will lay down the law when it comes to boundaries and what he expects moving forward.
However, who really believes Liam will play by Finn’s rules or anyone else’s for that matter? This is Liam we’re talking about! Liam has proven he’s selfish and does whatever he wants, whenever he wants.
Now that Liam is adding to his “Steam” brood, it may just be a matter of time before he longs for Steffy and a united family again.
Regardless, Liam already spends a great deal of time around Steffy because of their co-parenting arrangement for Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray). Liam’s going to have an even stronger presence in Steffy’s life now that there’s another child involved.
As Finn mulls over the future, he could easily battle some fears about Liam using baby number two to pull Steffy closer. Since Finn adores Steffy, it’d break his heart if another betrayal happened. Finn can’t trust Liam not to make a move and prey on Steffy’s weakness for him.
Finn may even start to doubt Steffy’s commitment if she bonds with Liam ahead of the baby’s birth. There’ll be a lot of planning to do for the parents-to-be, so Finn may begin to feel like an outsider in some ways.
Despite Finn’s initial insistence that he’d stand by her, will he break his word and dump Steffy if more Liam trouble arises? It’d make sense for B&B writers to create some “SINN” drama before the revelation that the paternity test results were tampered with.
Since Finn is most likely the true “baby daddy,” we could see his relationship with Steffy crumble ahead of that shocker. The Bold and the Beautiful might pull Steffy and Finn apart so they can later reunite them through their child.
Whatever the case, we don’t trust Liam to leave Steffy alone! Finn’s worries about Steffy getting back together with Liam could grow stronger, so we’ll see if they lead to a breakup at some point. As other B&B info becomes available, we’ll bring you updates.
