The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Vincent ‘Vinny’ Walker (Joe LoCicero) is dead. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and the audience confirmed that fact. However, LoCicero offered a potentially intriguing wink to the future upon his departure from the cast.
Daytime often offers otherworldly scenes, where the soul of a departed character returns. Alternatively, Vinny could have an identical twin that he never spoke about or didn’t know existed.
“I do believe I’m done filming but it is a soap opera so anything is possible,” LoCicero told Soap Opera Digest.

Vinny was introduced as Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) childhood friend. That happened in 2019, when Atkinson became the recast.
LoCicero’s alter ego served as Thomas’ sidekick and sounding board. As the fans learned, Vinny was a loyal friend. But he also rationalized his own bad behavior, which was a foreshadowing of the hit and run that just happened.
Thomas was aware that Vinny came into the possession of and sold underground substances. He was, in effect, a low level drug dealer.
inny tagged his unlawful actions as a side hustle and bristled at Thomas merely mentioning that plot point by using the cliched term judging.

Thomas reflected on a series of comments Vinny made to him about gratitude after Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) paternity test results were known.
In doing so he strongly suspected that Vinny altered the outcome to make Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) look like the father so that Thomas would have an opening to create a life with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Vinny also revealed that he was jealous of Finn, noting that the nurses fawned over the doctor at the hospital. The insecurities LoCicero’s character projected were intense, causing him to invent a skewed view of reality.
The unintended consequences of Vinny’s actions led him to somehow be on the road as Liam and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) fatefully approached.

So, Vinny is gone. All connected characters are now aware of that because Finn happened to be with the coroner and identified the man who was a John Doe.
Soap operas have long been known for creative twists that aren’t part of the everyday world. Devoted fans know the evil twin technique has often been used in daytime.
But if Vinny has a brother he never spoke about or didn’t know existed would that guy be bad or good? The manner in which any story is told can present a fresh take, which light-hearted fans appreciate.
Maybe Vinny was the evil twin? His genetic doppelganger would be a good guy, who would shock everyone’s senses when appearing in Los Angeles, California, at some point in the future. Then again, maybe the mirror-image would make Vinny look better in retrospect?
“Of course I’d come back to BOLD if they asked me. I’d play anything. I love that place, and if other soaps are like that, then I’d love to play on other daytime soaps, for sure.”
