The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will deliver Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) baby since it’ll be too late for the hospital. Abby will bring her own son into the world with Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) help, so let’s consider how all this will play out.
In captivity, Mariah’s contractions will keep getting worse.
Mariah will realize this baby’s coming whether she likes it or not, so that’ll lead to an extremely stressful situation. Mariah will fear she might have to give birth all alone, but a couple of familiar faces are going to burst in eventually.
Y&R spoilers say Devon will make a stunning discovery – presumably after following up on his suspicions regarding Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan).
We also know Abby will take charge in a dire moment, so that undoubtedly applies to this difficult labor and having to handle it herself.
Mariah will be a sweaty, panicked mess as she deals with the pain.
The fear of not having any medical staff around will add to Mariah’s woes, but Devon will get behind Mariah to steady her and coach her through this.
Meanwhile, Abby will offer reassurance as prepares to deliver the baby right there in the room Mariah’s been trapped in. She’ll coach Mariah through it as well and let her know she’s doing a great job.
It’ll definitely be a rough delivery for Mariah, but at least she’ll have Abby and Devon there to support her.
It won’t be long until Baby Bowie – or whatever his true name turns out to be – finally arrives.
Abby could easily settle on Bowie as her permanent choice under the circumstances. After everything Mariah’s been through, she surely deserves to pick this little guy’s name.
Regardless, there’ll be some terrifying moments ahead of this birth, but joy should follow once Abby’s got Bowie in her arms.
It’ll be a pretty overwhelming experience for Abby to deliver her own child – and Devon should be overwhelmed too as the biological father who donated sperm to make this happen.
Mariah will be doing all the hard work here, so Abby should be full of gratitude once it’s all over.
Of course, there’s always a chance of complications afterward, so that’s something to keep in mind!
