Billy has become obsessed with figuring out all there is to know about Ashland’s past. This is mostly about protecting Victoria, but it almost seems like Billy is fixated on defeating Ashland, too.
Billy no doubt wants revenge since Ashland has such a tight hold on Victoria – the mother of Billy’s children and someone he’ll always love.
Since Ashland still has other secrets to be revealed, Billy will soon have even more of a motive for vengeance.
Ashland is turning Victoria’s life upside down and causing constant stress. The hits just keep coming, so it’s easy to see why Billy’s frustrated at this point.
During the week of October 4-8, Ashland will come clean to Victoria about a shocking crime.
It’ll jeopardize the wedding at first, but Victoria will opt to suck it up and try to deal with her good-for-nothing groom.
Ashland is quite possibly one of the most deceptive men on the planet, but Victoria won’t want to bring shame to Newman Enterprises by having everything blow up.
The merger is a game-changer and will put Victoria in a bind, but Billy surely won’t care about that.
Billy is concerned about Victoria, not the company Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) built.
Y&R fans will recall how Billy was previously obsessed with exposing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Billy couldn’t rest until he published the “Making of a Monster” exposé and even wanted to do a follow-up later since the first one was so successful.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) talked Billy into moving on, but now he’s obsessing over Ashland and bringing him down.
Once Billy uncovers the full Bobby DeFranco story along with evidence of Ashland’s other criminal activities, it’s tough to imagine him sitting on what he knows.
Maybe Billy’s public exposure of Ashland could actually be a good thing.
It might be what saves Victoria if Billy can make Ashland look like a menace who preyed upon Victoria, a stabbing victim who was just trying to recover and move past old heartache.
Billy could spin this so that it’s less about Victoria being weak and more about Ashland taking advantage of her capacity for love and forgiveness.
If Ashland is lying about his terminal illness, that’ll really be the icing on the cake and will make him a true villain in the eyes of the public.
Victoria will worry about the potential of a scandal, but maybe Billy’s exposé could actually give Newman a big boost!
Whatever the case, Billy will have a big reaction to some startling info that lands in his path.
That’s coming up during the week of October 4-8 and could be the beginning of the end for Ashland.
