The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may be driven to the edge following Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) ultimatum.
In the May 5 episode of The Young and the Restless, Victor demands that Chelsea go to the cops and confess or else he’ll take away custody of Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Of course, we have to acknowledge that Victor’s threat presents a lose-lose situation for Chelsea. Why would Chelsea confess to the cops when it’d mean going to prison and losing Connor anyway?
If Chelsea’s going to lose Connor no matter what, what does she have to gain by helping Victor clear Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) name?
If Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) can come up with proof that points in Chelsea’s direction, that could make matters worse for her. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea is on the verge of spinning out in a big way.
Victor is pushing the protective mom button and activating the part of Chelsea that would do literally anything for her son.
The Young and the Restless fans can expect Chelsea to do something big and bold during the month of May. Chelsea will make a daring move in hopes of defeating the Newmans once and for all.
We also know there’s some big showdown coming up at the Newman ranch, so Chelsea may find herself willing to take deadly action against Victor.
Chelsea may decide to go on the run with Connor, but she won’t want Victor dangling as a loose end. Victor would probably never stop searching until he found his grandson and reunited Connor with Adam.
It makes sense that this daring move will involve plotting to shoot and kill Victor. That might be what that “once and for all” spoiler means. This is certainly something Chelsea hopes will be permanent – and there’s nothing more permanent than death!
Will Chelsea reach her breaking point and show up armed at the ranch? Will Chelsea plan to pump a fatal bullet in Victor?
There’s a good chance Chelsea will be apprehended before it goes any further, but the murder threat alone could make for some juicy drama! We’ll offer updates as other Y&R news rolls in.
