The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may seduce Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) for revenge on Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Will this police escort assignment bring cheating temptation?
Y&R fans know Chelsea isn’t as well as she claims to be – and we’ve seen her rant behind closed doors about how much she hates Sharon.
Chelsea still blames Sharon for her role in everything that happened with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), even if that’s not what she’s telling Sharon and Rey these days.
Now that Chelsea has a legit chance at freedom, she has to play the part of a contrite woman who used her time at the psychiatric facility to get better.
Chelsea actually did no such thing since she spent her stint focused on getting out rather than putting the work in during therapy.
Nevertheless, Chelsea has been released and will be going to Minnesota to care for Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) while she recovers from a broken hip. Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will be heading out of state with Chelsea and Rey, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some private time for the adults at some point.
This seems like the prime setup for Rey and Chelsea to get stranded in some motel along the way. Chelsea could easily take her shot at revenge once Connor’s asleep in the other room. Could things get steamy for Rey and Chelsea?
Part of Chelsea seems to genuinely be falling for Rey since he’s repeatedly defended her and given her the benefit of the doubt. This is a man Chelsea poisoned, but Rey has still found a way to forgive her and understand what she was driven to.
That surely means a lot to Chelsea, but getting payback on Sharon may remain her ultimate goal. Chelsea could start off with stealing a kiss, but there’s always a chance it could go even further. There’s a strange connection between Rey and Chelsea that the show has an opportunity to explore.
