The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) might play matchmaker for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Perhaps Chloe will decide she wants Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) ex taken by the time she comes home.
Chloe was rattled over Chelsea’s attitude adjustment on their last video chat, so she was quick to offer a reminder.
As far as Chloe’s concerned, Chelsea needs to concentrate on strictly co-parenting. She’s obviously nervous about the possibility of Chelsea reuniting with Adam – and rightly so!
Now that Chloe and Sally are on the verge of working together at Newman Media, Chloe might view the risky redhead as someone who’s more Adam’s speed. She may think a schemer like Sally can handle Adam and keep him away from Chelsea.
The last thing Chloe wants is for Chelsea to relapse and sink to such a dark place again.
Chelsea was driven to her breaking point and poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) as part of her plan, so Chloe understands how important it is to keep Chelsea on the right path.
That might be easier to do if Adam’s no longer single – and it might help if he’s no longer sniffing around Chelsea’s rival, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Perhaps Chelsea could find peace and freedom if Adam settles into a completely fresh relationship – at least that’s how Chloe might view the situation.
Once Chloe senses that Chelsea’s upping the ante in her pursuit of a “Chadam” reunion, she might decide that desperate times call for desperate measures. Chloe could resolve to play Cupid and push Sally in Adam’s direction.
Sally could use a love interest now that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has dumped her again – perhaps for good this time. We’re also hearing rumblings from Y&R insiders that Sally and Adam might actually have a chance of happening.
It looks like the show may at least test the waters when it comes to Adam and Sally, so Chloe might play a key role in that.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that new love could drop right in Sally’s lap if Chloe has anything to say about it!
