The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, April 2 Recap – Adam Stuns Nick on Security Camera – Elena Talks Devon Babies

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, April 2, teases that Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will wake up and find her parents hovering again.

Faith will admit it’s freaking her out since Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are being so nice. She’ll worry that maybe her condition has gotten worse, but Sharon will insist there’s no sign of concussion or head trauma.

Faith will mention the good Samaritan who saved her and wonder if her parents have found out his identity. Nick will insist they’re going to figure it out and will start cracking some dad jokes. Sharon and Nick will assure Faith that they’re committed to helping her heal in every way.

At The Grand Phoenix, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be suspicious when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) delays his trip to the hospital.

Victor will be focused on nailing down Cyaxares contract details and will plan to come later, but Nikki will think he’s been reminded of Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) outcome.

Victor will ask if Nikki thinks he’s going to turn into a puddle in the ICU, so she’ll wonder if that’s what Victor thinks he’ll do. Victor will insist there’s nothing to worry about and promise that he’ll be along to support Faith soon.

At Society, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will reel over Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) news about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) poisoning him. Lola will be upset with Rey for being part of the investigation since he’s still trying to recover.

Lola will rant about everything Adam has gotten away with due to his Newman connections and money, but Rey will insist none of that’s going to save him this time.

Lola will want Rey to let another detective handle this since it’s too personal, but Rey will argue that he can be professional and won’t let his emotions cloud his judgment.

When Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) arrives, Rey will take off and leave them to plan their next girls’ night.

Lola will talk about using it to distract Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) while they wait to find out if the embryo transfer worked. However, Lola will wonder if maybe they should take a step back.

Mariah will be bringing Devon’s child into the world if she’s indeed pregnant, so Lola will worry about how Elena feels since Devon is her ex. Elena will argue that they never seriously talked about having kids.

Although Elena imagined having a little boy or girl with Devon’s smile, she’ll understand that any child Mariah conceives will really belong to Abby and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).

Elena will note that Devon is trying to make things work with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) – and now Nate is spending his extra time mentoring his cousin. It’ll feel like everyone’s moving on except for Elena.

“It’s like I’m stuck,” Elena will say in Y&R’s Friday, April 2 episode.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll welcome Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) and get Moses’ gratitude in return.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will tease Moses about wandering around the ICU flirting with patients, but Moses will deny flirting and insist he just wanted to see Nate in action.

Nate will plan to be a good role model and show you can be a great doctor no matter what obstacles land in your path. Devon will offer Nate plenty of praise – and Nate will call Devon a local hero for everything he’s done for the community.

Moses will insist he knows there are no shortcuts, so he’s willing to put all the necessary work in on his path to medicine.

After Nate leaves, Moses will want to hear about Devon’s life as a music mogul. Devon won’t think it’s all that glamourous, but he’ll find it fulfilling and will still feel connected to Neill Winters (Kristoff St. John) because of it.

Moses will comment on how close Devon and Nate are since they opened the clinic together, so Devon will seem uncomfortable as he suggests they have a lot of the same ideas.

Talk will turn to house rules and how Moses doesn’t want to interfere with the lady in Devon’s life. Devon will admit it’s actually going to be just the two of them.

Back at the hospital, Faith will worry to Nikki that Grandpa might hate her for stealing tequila and the Newman truck. Nikki will insist that Victor adores Faith and has been so worried. If anyone has failed Faith, Nikki will think it’s her.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon will get another text from Adam, who’ll beg her not to ignore him. Adam will insist Sharon is his only hope and will plead with her to see him.

When Nick comes in for coffee, he’ll ask if Sharon’s OK. Since they just got good news about Faith, Nick will find it odd that Sharon doesn’t seem all that happy about it.

Sharon will argue that it’s been a difficult past few days, but Nick will mention the text Sharon got at the hospital. He’ll think Sharon seemed thrown by it.

Now that Sharon is once again looking pensive on her phone, Nick will wonder what’s going on. “Is it Adam?” Nick will ask.

Sharon will admit it’s indeed Adam, but she’ll lie that she’s just checking her news feed to see if the police have found him – and wondering if Adam is really capable of poisoning Rey.

As for the good Samaritan, Nick will want Rey to look at the hospital security footage to see who it is they have to thank. He’ll respect that the guy doesn’t want the spotlight, but he’ll want to talk to him. Nick will think Sharon must feel the same way.

When Sharon hesitates, Nick will once again push to find out what’s really going on with Sharon. She’ll suggest she’s just trying to wrap her head around everything, but Nick will remind her that Faith’s going to be all right.

Nick will insist that the mystery man proved there’s still some good left in this world. He won’t stop until he finds out who this man is and expresses his gratitude.

After Sharon returns to the hospital, she’ll find Nikki blaming herself again for leaving Faith alone. Sharon will argue that Nikki shouldn’t hold herself responsible.

Sharon will express her own regret over not getting Faith into therapy sooner – and Faith will want to make things up to everyone. Sharon and Nikki will agree to focus on moving forward and helping Faith with the healing process.

As for Devon and Moses, they’ll spot Victor as they enter The Grand Phoenix. Victor will greet Moses and talk about how proud Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) would be about him studying medicine.

When Moses steps away, Devon will confess that he still thinks Moses is having a rough time with Neil’s death. That’s part of why Devon wanted Moses to join him in Genoa City.

Victor will insist that Neil would be proud of Devon as well – and he’ll think what Devon’s doing for Abby is a great gesture of friendship.

Afterward, Moses will wonder if Abby is really just a friend, so Devon will insist that she recently got married to another friend of his. Devon will note that he officiated the wedding and is very happy for them.

Moses will mention that his mom talked about Devon’s girlfriend. He’ll fish to find out more about who Devon is seeing, so Devon will admit he screwed things up with a woman named Amanda and is trying to fix it. That’ll satisfy Moses’ curiosity for now.

Back at Society, Lola will understand why Elena would feel stuck. She felt that way when her marriage ended and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) moved on with Summer Newman (Hunter King) so quickly.

However, Lola will suggest that she also realized how many other good things she had in her life. It helped her be more fulfilled as an individual. Lola will drop a hint about Elena potentially texting some guy she met at the bar the other night, but Elena won’t want to talk about men.

Suddenly, Nate will enter and join the ladies at their table.

After Lola thanks Nate and Elena for helping Rey, she’ll excuse herself and head back to the kitchen. Nate will acknowledge that Lola was right about them working as a great team, but Elena will guess there’s no going back for them.

Nate will admit too much has happened and Elena has feelings for Devon to sort out. If Nate’s being honest, he wouldn’t be able to trust Elena again.

When Lola returns, Elena will decide to follow her friend’s lead and take a break from romance. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will change her mind about that sometime this spring, so stay tuned.

At the coffeehouse, Rey will bring Nick the security footage from the hospital. Rey will pull up the 10-minute window he asked for on his phone and show Nick, who’ll look stunned when he finds out the mystery man’s identity.

They’ll replay it frame by frame just to be sure. “I’ll be damned. It’s him. There’s no mistaking who that is,” Nick will declare.

Nick will immediately start looking for a way to blame Adam again, so he’ll suggest that maybe Adam caused the accident. Rey will insist there’s no sign of any other car being involved.

Nick will have to admit that while Adam was on the run, he stopped and risked everything to save Faith’s life.

In Faith’s room, Victor will bring the chess board during his visit. He’ll admit Faith gave them all a scare, but he’ll be happy she’s OK.

Finally, Sharon will text Adam back at the cottage and wonder where he is. Adam will reply that he’s at the lake, so Sharon will clutch her phone and look deep in thought.

We’ll bring you updates as other Y&R details come in. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will pay Adam a risky visit soon, so keep watching! CDL’s the place to be for terrific Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
