The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 23, tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will have no choice but to cooperate. On Thursday, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) decides to play hardball after Ashland has a heart attack.
Victor gets downright ruthless by insisting that if Ashland wants medical help, then he’ll sign the Cyaxares contract. Friday’s Y&R episode will leave Ashland fuming, but he’ll be in no condition to protest or make any sort of negotiations.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland will indeed sign on the dotted line, so Victor won’t stand in the way when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) calls 911 for paramedics.
It won’t be long until an ambulance is headed over to the ranch, but Ashland will make it clear that Victor’s playing a very dangerous game – one that’s far from over!
Victor is making a fierce enemy, but he’ll only care about the fact that he locked in the company and can move forward with his plans.
As for Nikki, she’ll be appalled over Victor’s latest move and will promptly offer updates to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Victoria may not be all that surprised since she’s seen her father’s cruelty firsthand.
Victoria will determine that it’s time to draw a line in the sand and handle things at Newman Enterprises without any input from Victor from now on.
While Victoria shares her decision with Victor, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will seek out Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) to make a plea for help.
Although Summer seems insecure about Tara and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) old connection, Tara may be Jabot’s best shot at keeping their future intact. Summer will recognize that, so she’ll put her personal issues aside for the sake of business.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will push Tara to talk to Ashland and try to get through to him. She’ll hope Tara might be able to stop Ashland’s attacks on Jabot and convince him to stand down.
However, any plans Tara might make will be put on hold. Y&R fans can expect a phone call to come in about Ashland’s heart attack, so Tara will learn he’s been rushed to the hospital.
Nikki will bring Tara up to speed, so Tara will head over to join her husband and get the latest news on his condition. Summer will be tasked with bringing Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in the loop, so they’ll be floored by this startling turn of events.
Across town, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will manage to push Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) buttons. Devon will basically tell Lily that he doesn’t think her relationship with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is going to last!
Lily will be upset over Devon’s doubts about her future, so she could allow those doubts to fuel some of her own. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will decide to plan a grand romantic night for Billy, but it might be more about convincing herself that everything’s fine.
