The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 20, tease that Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) private investigator will help Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) offers his resources for the hostage search. It’ll be all hands on deck when it comes to tracking Mariah down, so we’ll see some real movement in this storyline.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is doing everything he can at the GCPD and will soon rely more on Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) assistance.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) heard about Mariah going missing, so she may voice her concerns to Kevin and convince him he has to take on a bigger role in the investigation.
Kevin and Chloe will also find time to sound the alarm for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so that’ll no doubt be about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Y&R viewers know Chloe already offered a warning, but she may repeat herself with Kevin backing her up this time.
Kevin and Chloe certainly aren’t fans of Adam, so they’ll want Sally to truly understand the kind of man she’s dealing with.
However, Sally isn’t the type to scare easily and may relate to Adam even more once she digs into his past just a bit.
Speaking of digging, that’s what Devon will want Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) to do. Denise was all set to go into retirement after taking on Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) final case, but Devon will hope she can squeeze in one more.
If Denise could uncover anything related to Mariah’s whereabouts, it would be a huge relief.
It’s possible Denise could look into where Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) is as well, but her time would be better spent focusing on Mariah since that’s the most pressing matter here.
Meanwhile, Victor will finally offer up all those valuable Newman resources of his. It’s about time since Victor’s grandchild is at stake!
Mariah is carrying Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) precious cargo, so Victor will do everything in his power to make sure his daughter’s surrogate is found safe and sound.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) will comfort Abby, but it looks like he’s to blame for Mariah’s entire nightmare.
