The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 4, tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will make a stunning Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) discovery as his case continues to bring twists and turns. Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be suspicious over Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) sudden turnaround.
For starters, we should talk about Amanda’s latest conversation with Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins), the private investigator who helped Richard Nealon locate his missing child.
Richard obviously didn’t know there were twins, but Denise was able to locate the foster family for one of his daughters and point him in the right direction.
Of course, the fact that Richard was murdered soon after is concerning. Someone obviously didn’t want Richard to find the babies Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) gave up for adoption.
It seems like Richard’s death had to have been ordered by Sutton, Naya or perhaps the man who’d become her husband, Eric Benedict.
As Amanda keeps connecting dots, she’ll be horrified the more she digs. Amanda is beginning to see just how shady her family is – and that includes Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) since she clearly knows more than she’s letting on.
After Amanda’s next discovery, she may feel the need to confront multiple family members and work to pry the whole truth out of them.
Amanda wants the person to blame for Richard’s death to pay since she was robbed of a chance to be a family with Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and her dad.
Let’s hope that’s a promise Amanda will be able to keep as this hot plot gets even hotter. In the meantime, Kyle will battle suspicions as Ashland changes his mind.
It looks like Ashland will choose to be a bit more cooperative when it comes to the custody battle – at least in this moment.
However, if there’s one thing we know about Ashland, it’s that he loves to play mind games. Since Y&R spoilers point to Ashland and Tara’s war getting nasty in the months ahead, this seems like some sort of ploy – and Kyle may see right through it.
Finally, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have an amazing birthday gift for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’ll be impressed by her husband’s thoughtfulness.
Nikki will receive a book that she opens in the park along with a note that clues her in on part two of her present.
Victor will go all out with a grand gesture, so this will be a multi-step birthday adventure! As other Y&R news becomes available, we’ll bring you more updates.
