The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, March 26 Recap – Chelsea Poisoned Rey – Amanda’s Father Murdered - Jordan Destroys Faith

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, March 26, tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will show at the cottage and express concern over Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) rushing off to deal with work.

Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will also be worried since Rey just got out of the hospital, but she’ll suggest Rey felt it couldn’t wait.

Mariah will wonder if Sharon knows where the poison came from, so Sharon will insist that’s what they’re trying to figure out. After Sharon quickly shifts to Mariah’s recent procedure, Mariah will admit Abby’s fertilized embryo was implanted into her.

If this takes and everything goes as planned, Mariah will be carrying Abby and Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) child.

Mariah will admit she’s feeling overwhelmed, so she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t a little scared. However, Mariah will be totally on board with helping Abby.

It’ll give Mariah some hope, so Sharon will argue that hope and fear are always going to be there side by side. Sharon will still worry about Faith, but she’ll hope that they’re on the other side of all the drama.

Meanwhile, Rey will reveal that he’s got a warrant to search the penthouse and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) car. Rey will apologize to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for putting her in such an uncomfortable position.

Chelsea will think she’s got the best seat in the house as Rey says he’s sorry this is how it has to be.

“And I’m sorry for poisoning you, but I promise it’s going to be worth it,” Chelsea will say to herself in her mind. After Rey searches with gloves on, he’ll seem a bit weak.

Rey will ignore Adam’s questions about what’s going on as he heads upstairs. Adam will get on his tablet and see a news item about Rey being rushed to the hospital recently for a mysterious illness.

As Adam mulls all this over, he’ll wonder how much Chelsea knows. Adam will suggest that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has been filling Chelsea’s head with garbage, so he’ll wonder if this was Chloe’s doing, if they teamed up or if Chelsea acted alone.

Adam will think the explanation that makes the most sense is that Chelsea’s recovered just enough to fool them all.

Although Adam will beg Chelsea to talk to him and fix this, Chelsea will think to herself that SHE’S fixing it. Adam will storm out in frustration, but he’ll open the door back up and see Chelsea smiling in satisfaction.

Once Rey comes down and sees that Adam’s gone, he’ll tell Chelsea he’ll send someone to stay with her until her nurse gets back.

At the Chancellor mansion, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will drop by and chat with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) about the baby progress.

Abby will admit she’s been concerned about how Mariah will feel if this works and it turns out the first baby she carries isn’t her own. Abby will wonder if Devon’s worried since he won’t be raising his first biological child.

Devon will contend that he’s totally fine with being the cool uncle, but Abby will suggest she was thinking of this more as a nosy friend instead of looking for reassurance.

Abby will wonder if Devon’s thought about having a family of his own. Devon will admit he wants to have a child one day along with a wife and a family – though he’ll think that’s a ways off.

Abby will counter that it could be closer than Devon thinks, so he’ll think this is her way of asking about his dilemma regarding Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).

Devon will confess that he probably ruined a good thing that could’ve been a great thing.

However, Y&R spoilers say Devon won’t want to dwell on that right now. Talk will turn back to Abby’s baby-making mission, so she’ll reveal plans to keep a video diary for Chance. Devon will plan a little ice cream celebration because of this embryo transfer day as well.

In Amanda’s suite, she’ll assume Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) is there to discuss a legal matter. Naya will admit that a reporter is trying to connect her father, Sutton Ames, to a crime that happened many years ago.

Amanda will assume it’s a white-collar crime, but Naya will confess it’s far more serious since a man was killed.

Amanda will express surprise as she learns someone’s trying to implicate Sutton in a murder. Naya will insist that this reporter is acting like Sutton arranged it, so Amanda will wonder if he did.

After Naya shuts down that possibility, she’ll insist that she wants Amanda to defend Sutton. Amanda will wonder why she would defend the man who forced Naya to give her twins up for adoption.

“Because the man my father is accused of killing, is your father,” Naya will confess. Amanda’s jaw will drop as she gasps. She’ll reel as she asks if her grandfather had her father killed, but Naya will repeat that’s not the case.

Naya will argue that her father is being set up and will stick to the story that Amanda’s father was killed in a car crash about a year after the twins were born.

Amanda will learn that her father’s name was Richard Neiland, so she’ll get overwhelmed as she processes Naya’s updates.

Amanda won’t get why it would take 30 years for a murder charge to come to light – and she’ll wonder why on earth Naya thinks she would help with this.

Amanda will point out that she’s not the best person to handle this case since it involves a criminal investigation. She’ll also be upset over being a dirty little secret one minute and then welcomed the next when Naya needs her assistance.

At the ranch, Faith Newman’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) secret admirer will text that it’s Tommy Ross from school. An excited Faith will scream with glee into a pillow and text back that she can’t believe Tommy noticed her.

Another message will ask if Faith can sneak away to meet, so she’ll suggest she can’t right now – but soon! Faith will get a text that pushes her to tell Tommy she loves him, so she’ll look confused. “Tommy” will send a love declaration first, so Faith will finally text back that she loves him.

Suddenly, the texts will stop coming in and that’ll leave Faith perplexed. When Faith asks why she’s being ghosted, she’ll finally be instructed to check social media.

A screenshot of Faith’s “I love you, Tommy Ross” will be posted, so Faith will wonder why “Tommy” would do that. She’ll get a text back that it’s not Tommy and will be called a loser for falling for it.

When Faith asks who is really is, Jordan will text back her picture as a response. Faith will ask why she tricked her, so Jordan will text that Faith got boring and let her mommy choose her friends.

Jordan will argue that she wasn’t going to waste her time on Faith anymore. That’ll leave Faith sobbing in the living room.

Back with Naya, she’ll think this is a bonding opportunity. It’ll allow Amanda to get to know the family – to bring Amanda into the fold and bring her on her team. Amanda will argue that’s something as a publicist might stay and will think Naya wants to use her as a PR stunt.

Naya will counter that it’s a show of faith from a family that wants to offer forgiveness. She’ll think Amanda should want to get to the truth of who murdered her father.

Amanda will point out she hasn’t agreed and doesn’t know the facts of the case. Naya will admit she doesn’t know much either because her father’s a private man and shielded her.

Later, Amanda will admit she’s going to need a lot of time to think about this. Naya will thank Amanda for giving it serious consideration – and she’ll promise that no matter what Amanda decides, it won’t change anything between them.

Devon will witness the intense interaction, so Amanda will admit Naya told her some things that’ll take a while to process. She won’t want to open up to Devon right now, but he’ll vow to always be there for Amanda if she needs him.

When Rey returns to the cottage, he’ll inform Sharon that he already found evidence against Adam due to his search warrant. There was a vial of white powder in Adam’s shaving kit, which tested positive for thallium.

Rey also found that missing figurine in Adam’s car along with a tray. He’ll wonder what those trinkets mean, so Sharon will admit Adam gave them to her a long time ago.

Rey will seem bothered by Sharon having mementos around the house to remind her of Adam, but she’ll insist it wasn’t like that. Rey will suggest that maybe this was a message to Sharon about planting the thallium and trying to kill him.

He’ll think Adam ran away because of what Rey was going to find. Rey will turn to Sharon as the person who knows Adam best and ask where Adam would run off to.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Faith will make a tearful confession about getting tricked by Jordan – that there was no boy. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will listen and give Faith a pep talk about how this pain will pass.

Faith will pretend she’s feeling better, but she’ll break down in tears again once Nikki leaves the room. As Faith’s sadness turns to anger, she’ll grab a bottle of tequila from the bar and stomp off.

At the penthouse, Chelsea will walk around and talk about how she’s a con artist at heart. She’ll contend that Adam is a liar who’s in love with someone else. Chelsea will feel like their story should’ve ended with the cabin explosion.

Chelsea will be angry about all the wasted time, but she’ll be glad she’s free and will look forward to a future with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) – one without Adam.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say even more curveballs are brewing for Chelsea and Adam, so stay tuned. CDL will have all the sizzling Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news you need, so be sure to stop by often.
