The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, November 19, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will take a wild gamble while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) offers a grim warning to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also try to track Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) down, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At the ranch on Friday’s Y&R episode, Billy will stand by his offer to walk away from ChancComm and accept defeat.
Billy will think Victor should enjoy the satisfaction of watching him step down in shame, but Billy will insist Lily’s future at ChancComm must remain intact.
Victor may admit that would indeed give him satisfaction and will acknowledge that his real beef is with Billy, not Lily. However, this isn’t just about revenge. It’s also about business and eliminating the competition.
Victor prides himself on focusing on what’s best from a professional standpoint, so that’s what he’ll have to think about here. He may wonder why he shouldn’t just stick to the plan and make sure ChancComm falls under his control.
After all, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) already offered Lily a job at Newman Media – one that Victor may keep on the table for her.
Billy will count on Victor to drop all the attacks and lawsuits, but he’ll apparently face some resistance on accepting the deal – at least without some adjustments.
Victor is a man who enjoys battling it out and exploiting his enemies’ weaknesses. Since Victor is having so much fun destroying Billy’s dreams, he may not be able to resist raising the stakes.
Billy will make a wager that’s quite dangerous on Friday’s episode, so Victor may use his past as a gambling addict to push him to the limit.
Meanwhile, Ashland will pass along a warning after Lily finishes chewing him out.
Perhaps Ashland will contend that Lily is a smart woman who should walk away from Billy while she still can.
Ashland may argue that Lily can do better than Billy, who’s just going to keep dragging her down if she’s not careful.
Over with Devon, he’ll give Victor updates on a note he found in his penthouse.
Victor will realize Abby has indeed taken off to find Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd), so he’ll work with Devon on trying to locate Abby. That’ll involve pooling their resources and following any lead they can get their hands on.
Finally, Abby will be on a mission to see Chance, who’s alive and staying with Errol and Kim Dunaway (Roxanne Hart) on an island not too far from Valencia.
It’ll take some time for Abby to finish the rest of her journey, but she’ll be well on her way to reuniting with her husband!
