The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) may seek Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) sperm for a baby Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) doesn’t want – at least right now. Mariah’s obsession is out of control, but what’s it going to take to make her listen?
Kevin pitched in on Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) efforts to find Mariah during the Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) kidnapping crisis, so it’s high time that Mariah reached out.
Mariah and Kevin used to be close pals, but the show hasn’t played up that friendship all that much lately.
The good news is it should swing back around when Mariah reconnects with Kevin soon. The bad news is Mariah may ask Kevin to be a sperm donor and cause even more drama.
There’s no confirmation on this just yet, but there’s some intriguing Y&R buzz about Mariah turning to Kevin for baby help.
It makes sense considering Mariah’s still fixated on the idea of having a child with Tessa and needs a sperm donation to make it happen.
No matter how many times Tessa says it or how she words it, Mariah can’t get it through her head that Tessa isn’t ready to start their family.
Tessa doesn’t want to get pregnant right now and doesn’t think it’s healthy for Mariah to use a new baby to fill the void in her heart.
Like Tessa said, it’s not fair to saddle this baby with the chore of healing Mariah’s emotional wound.
There’ll be plenty of time to start a family down the road, but it needs to happen after Mariah’s truly in a good place. The problem is Mariah wants to use this baby to get to that good place instead.
Of course, Mariah may not fill Kevin in on Tessa’s baby reluctance. She might act like this is something they’re both on board with when she approaches Kevin with this sperm donor idea.
If Mariah takes the pregnancy idea this far, it’s sure to exasperate Tessa.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) also deserves a chance to weigh in before Kevin makes any kind of commitment.
However, it’s Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) who really needs to be taking charge and staging some kind of intervention as a mental health professional.
Sharon’s daughter needs help, so she should really dish out some tough love and make sure Mariah gets it.
