The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that CBS soap star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) has found a creative way to defend herself against Internet trolls. If you check out the social media posts of your favorite Y&R stars, you’ve probably seen them getting attacked frequently.
Some people just like to stir up trouble and hurl insults for no reason, but Michelle Stafford clearly isn’t letting it bother her!
On Instagram, Stafford admitted she’d been the victim of name-calling by cruel people just looking to cause pain. However, Stafford isn’t letting the haters win. Instead, The Young and the Restless is choosing to focus on what matters to her – like rocking a pink bathing suit on a gorgeous evening with her family.
Stafford often posts fantastic photos on Instagram, but her latest one seemed to leave her feeling truly empowered. “I have been called an old bag like one million times from some folks on the internet… I’m ok with it… #HappyHumpDay,” Stafford said.
Michelle put up a pic of herself in that bathing suit we mentioned with a beautiful sunset right in front of her.
Stafford was definitely enjoying some fun as the sun went down recently. She shared another photo that was taken with her kids as day turned into night on the beach.
Stafford posts sweet family moments frequently and seems to have a great relationship with her children, so it’s nice that she’s willing to let fans in on the family bonding from time to time.
As for the name-calling, many Y&R fans spoke up in defense of Stafford in the comments on that photo and caption. Stafford was given plenty of compliments since she’s obviously not an “old bag” like some have chosen to claim. She still looks amazing and had no problems showing off her bathing suit for the haters!
“You my dear are gorgeous inside and out! You are kind, inspiring, and smart – Jealousy doesn’t look good on anyone,” one fan insisted. “Absolutely stunning!” another poster piped up. “Def not what they are saying. You are beautiful,” one more fan added.
It’s good to know Stafford’s not paying any attention to the insults – and it’s good to know some exciting Phyllis material’s coming up in Genoa City, too!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will dust off her old scheming playbook and school Summer Newman (Hunter King) in the fine art of plotting soon.
