The Young and the Restless spoilers has some fun news to pass on about a popular Y&R star and how she’s managing to spend time with her costars despite COVID restrictions on set and behind the scenes.
Michelle Stafford, who portrays Phyllis Summers on the CBS soap, recently shared an update on her Instagram feed about one way that she gets to enjoy a socially distanced lunch with her fellow actors.
As you might know if you follow Michelle on social media, she’s quite active on her feed and frequently posts uplifting updates about what she, her family, and her costars are up to.
Well, recently, Michelle posted a photo of herself with Christian LeBlanc and Tracey E. Bregman, who portray Michael Baldwin and Lauren Baldwin on Y&R.
In the photo, the three stars are sitting outside the studios on a concrete staircase, where they’re enjoying their respective lunches while sitting six feet apart. “We bought food and found a real lovely, comfortable, romantic, iron and cement stairwell to eat on, as all sitting areas have been taken away in LA,” Michelle explained in the caption.
Michelle continued: “We are creatives. We’ll make any area shine! Nothing will keep us down. Let’s continue to make this year shine y’all!!” Michelle, Christian, and Tracy certainly look happy and festive in the picture, and it’s great to see them make the best out of a challenging situation.
Later, Tracey shared a similar photo on her Instagram feed of the three actors lunching on the staircase once again. Tracey’s caption reads: “I love these two so much that this was almost a normal lunch. A lovely cement staircase that we stayed social distanced on but nothing could keep us from laughing from our toes.”
Tracey continued: “We’ve had many hilarious times together but this one goes down in history, for many reasons.” In response to both Michelle and Tracey’s posts, many fans responded with enthusiasm, saying how happy they were that Y&R is continuing on despite the pandemic.
For example, one fan replied to Tracey by saying: “Thank you all so much for still being able to create the Y&R…it’s the one bright spot in a day when I can come home from a hard day’s work and put my feet up and lose myself for an hour.” To that, Tracey replied with a heart emoji.
The good news here is that more episodes of Y&R are coming our way, and it’s great that the actors are able to enjoy themselves and have a good time with the difficult restrictions and COVID precautions that are imposed.
