The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, September 13 Update – Sharon Calls Out Sally’s Crush - Chelsea Hangs Up On Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, September 13, teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will angrily hang up on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) – and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will call out Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) crush. Let’s discuss what’s coming up in Monday’s exciting Y&R episode.

After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) apologizes for any awkwardness he created with his recent confession, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will downplay the drama.

Jack will confess he’s not sorry for what he said since it was all true. It’ll just be a matter of worrying he’s made Phyllis uncomfortable, but Phyllis will act like it’s good that Jack spoke from the heart.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will approach Jack and Phyllis about the civil ceremony plans in Italy.

They’ll all discuss Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) impending marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but there’ll be some trouble later.

Nick will barely pay any attention as Phyllis tries to show him potential dresses for Summer. He won’t even really care about Phyllis’ offer for a private fashion show – complete with lingerie.

Nick will pretend he’s happy with how comfortable their relationship has become, but he’ll seem worried it’s all fun and no substance.

Nevertheless, Phyllis will tenderly clasp hands with Nick as she tries to convey her gratitude for him – and Jack will spot the gesture.

Jack will also see Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) out for a stroll with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor in the park.

Abby will confess that no one can reach Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) to let him know about their son’s birth.

Jack will know how tough that must be and will offer his limited resources for what it’s worth. However, Abby won’t think Jack can help more than Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) and won’t want to put Chance in extra danger anyway.

Abby will just choose to remain hopeful and focus on all the love her support system can give Dominic.

Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will fall apart over missing Dominic’s first park visit and won’t even know why she’s feeling this way.

Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will think it’s normal for Mariah to be emotional after everything she’s been through, but Mariah will confide how scared she is that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) might come back.

After Tessa offers gentle reassurance, she’ll try to get Mariah out of the house for a while. Mariah will want to spend some time on her own instead, so Tessa will worry about her.

Once Abby returns home, Tessa will explain her growing concerns and leave Abby determined to help Mariah somehow. By the door, Mariah will overhear Abby and Tessa worrying about her.

At Society, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will alert Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to the fact that Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) birth certificate can’t be found – nor can any record of his parents’ deaths.

Victoria will think Billy’s making a mountain out of a molehill and will make it crystal clear that he’d better back off or else.

After Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) quizzes Ashland about his early days in business, Ashland will mostly talk about Victor’s biography instead.

It’ll be easy to see that Ashland’s avoiding the topic of his own past. Ashland will act like his illness has made him realize he doesn’t want to look back.

When Ashland finds Victoria looking frustrated at home, she’ll recap what she learned from Billy. Ashland will check a new text that says, “You’ll regret ignoring me.”

It’ll rattle Ashland enough to decide it’s time for a confession. Ashland will hint that Billy’s right about him hiding something and will feel like Victoria should know what it is.

In Adam’s office, his attempt to talk to Chelsea over a video call won’t go well.

Chelsea won’t get why Adam’s in such a hurry to clarify where things stand between them. She’ll think maybe they should give their relationship another try for Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) sake, but Adam won’t be interested.

Instead, Adam will want to sit Connor down and tell him about their separation. The problem is this needs to be done in person, not over a video chat.

Chelsea won’t be able to come home anytime soon due to Anita Lawson’s (Catherine Bach) setback, but Adam won’t be keen on taking Connor to Minnesota.

Adam will worry it’ll seem like a fun trip and set Connor up for heartbreak over the split.

Since Adam will want to fill Connor in by himself, Chelsea will fly into a rage about his unwillingness to compromise. Adam will look annoyed as Chelsea disconnects abruptly and leaves the issue without any real resolution.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will also lash out at Sharon on Monday, September 13 – and Adam will be the reason why. I

nstead of spending his break with Sharon like he planned, Rey will reveal he was stuck waiting for her while she was off helping Adam.

Rey will keep his anger under control, but he’ll definitely be upset over battling the same old problem. He’ll continue to wonder if Adam will ever be out of their lives and will refuse to stick around for any further discussion since his break will be over.

Next, it’ll be Sally’s turn to pester Sharon about her former career in fashion. While Sally’s at the coffeehouse for a latte, she’ll bring up reading about Sharon in Restless Style.

Sharon will make it clear that she’s perfectly happy with her life now and doesn’t miss working in fashion in the slightest.

Sally won’t be able to resist making a comment about Sharon having it all – including a handsome husband.

After Adam enters Crimson Lights, Sally will head back to Newman Media without him.

Adam will dismiss Sharon’s insistence that Sally has a crush. He won’t want to get tangled up with another complicated woman like Chelsea and will assure Sharon he’s fine alone for the time being.

As for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), she’ll realize Sally has a thing for Adam and wants to know more about his past with Sharon.

The news won’t please Chloe, who’ll make it clear that Adam will likely never get Sharon out of his system.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe’s warning won’t matter to Sally, who’ll inevitably just view Sharon as another obstacle on her path to Adam love.
