The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Naya’s Disappearance Rocks Amanda & Imani – Missing Mother Turns Murder Case Upside Down

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) disappearance will rock Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose). This missing mother crisis will turn the murder case upside down and leave Amanda even more determined to prove Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) is the guilty party.

Before Naya’s vanishing act, Y&R spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will meet with Sutton and hope to reel the shady politician in. He’ll tell an intriguing story about stumbling across a letter once an investigation was launched at Newman Enterprises.

Victor will explain that Richard Nealon wrote to him and said Sutton warned him to stop looking for his child or there’d be a price to pay. However, it’s Victor who’ll be setting the price this time around.

Victor will make it clear that nobody else knows about the letter’s existence, so he can help make this go away if Sutton ponies up the right amount.

Sutton will have to decide if he believes Victor and is willing to do what he asks. Naturally, paying some massive sum to keep a letter like this quiet could make Sutton look guilty to a jury.

It’s doubtful there’s a real letter at all since Victor’s just working to back Sutton into a corner and force an admission of guilt.

However, Amanda will soon realize her strategy may be all for naught. Imani will arrive at Amanda’s hotel room looking like a nervous wreck.

Imani will explain to Amanda and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that Naya has gone missing, so there’ll be serious concerns about Naya skipping bail and getting in major trouble as a result.

This should lead to a discussion about whether Naya bolted willingly or was threatened into leaving.

We wouldn’t put it past Sutton to kidnap Naya if need be, but Naya has proven she does when she’s told when it comes to Sutton.

If Sutton tossed more threats around and demanded that she disappear, you can bet Naya followed the order.

Of course, it’s also possible Naya just figured this wasn’t going to end well for anyone and decided to flee on her own.

Regardless, Amanda will hope to track Naya down before this turns into an even bigger nightmare.

Amanda will also want to prove Sutton is a manipulative monster who had the brakes cut on Richard’s car and ended her father’s life all those years ago.
