The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) health crisis will jeopardize the wedding – and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will tackle a big problem with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also pull off a victory, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
During the week of October 11-15, Billy will botch his plan by losing track of Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) in Italy. That could be due to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) interference since he’s determined to protect Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) big day.
However, Billy will press on with or without Gaines’ involvement. He’ll want Victoria to know she’s marrying a liar and a criminal, but she’s already well aware of that. Victoria will stun Billy by revealing that Ashland spilled everything, so Billy wasted time and money with this Gaines mess.
Billy will be incensed when he realizes Victoria’s proceeding with the wedding as planned, but Victoria will think she’s the one who should be outraged. She’ll rip into Billy, but he’ll defend his desire to protect his ex and the mother of his children.
Lily will end up playing defense as well, so it sounds like she’ll have to defend Billy’s scheme. In the meantime, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will want to attend the wedding with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who’ll be on the fence despite Victoria allowing him to be there.
Nick will fret over potentially casting a shadow over the event, but Phyllis will think Victoria wants Nick at the ceremony despite her indifferent attitude. Forgiveness is bound to happen sooner or later, so Nick will just have to deal with Victoria’s anger for now and try to support the wedding anyway.
Nick will indeed be present at Victoria and Ashland’s nuptials, but there’ll be some twist that makes him a witness in a surprising way. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also show up for the wedding – and so will Leslie Brooks (Janice Lynde), who’s set to perform.
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) has a performance coming up as well, but she’ll be glum over missing Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Mariah is too attached to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor to be away from him right now. She can’t handle being all the way in Italy when Dominic might need her, but she can’t hover around the baby constantly either.
Mariah will wind up at Crimson Lights with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) – and Y&R buzz hints that Mariah might pitch the idea of using Kevin as a sperm donor for a baby. By the time Tessa comes home, she may realize Mariah is even more obsessed than she thought and truly not listening.
Back in Tuscany, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will become part of the wedding festivities along with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). As for Ashland’s health, he’ll face some tough setbacks as we build to Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) stunning discovery.
Will Nikki find Ashland after he keels over? Time will tell, but Ashland will definitely be having a rough time. Sally will make sure the new dress lands in Victoria’s closet, but she’ll have to hide when Victoria returns to her room.
Although Sally’s going to get busted sooner or later, Victoria will say yes to the dress – just like Sally said she would. Adam should be pleased about that, so maybe the tension could lift on his end. He’s been rather rude to Sally in an effort to stop her flirting, but perhaps they could compromise if Sally dials it down and Adam tries to be nicer.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will look forward to walking Victoria down the aisle, but there’ll be a delay or two – perhaps due to the discovery we mentioned Nikki will make. If Ashland collapses, that could certainly throw off the wedding schedule! The nuptials will come with some bombshells, so stay tuned.
During the week of October 18-22, Sally will spot Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sharing another close moment with Phyllis. That’ll catch Sally’s interest and potentially get the wheels turning on how she can use this “Phack” closeness to her advantage.
Victor will also find himself in the position to neutralize a threat. Whether that’s Billy, Gaines or both, Victor will be prepared to protect Victoria as well as the Newman-Locke merger.
Other Y&R spoilers say Billy and Lily will struggle with a moral dilemma. That could mean they’ll be tempted to publish Gaines’ story about Ashland’s stolen fortune, but is it worth the price of hurting Victoria?
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also express frustration, so he may realize Mariah is fixating on the baby and pretty much being a total nightmare to Tessa. Although Tessa will want to be patient and help, she’ll also be frustrated since Mariah’s so stuck on this idea of starting a family ASAP.
Let’s hope Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will jump in eventually and insist on professional assistance. Mariah desperately needs some therapy, so let’s hope she gets some. We’ll keep you posted as other news and updates roll in.
