The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease, August 2 to August 13, that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will reconnect – and there’ll be signs that Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) obsession with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is back. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also plot risky revenge, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of August 2-6, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will feel her shot at a luxurious new life slipping away.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have another secret meeting with Tara, who’ll be freaking out over the possibility that her role in Summer’s departure will come out.
Sally already lost Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), so she’ll be concerned about holding onto the one thing she has left: her job at JCV.
We’ll see Sally gain another reason to worry once Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) sends a photo taken with Angelina Marchetti (Cristina Serafina) and Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Phyllis will know all about Eric’s favor for Sally by then, so she’ll fume over Sally tricking Eric to get Summer out of the way. Tara won’t be spared either since Summer will confess that she was threatened into leaving Genoa City.
After Summer blabs to Phyllis and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) on a video call, Phyllis will plot Tara’s brutal downfall.
In the meantime, Summer and Kyle will have a chance to reconnect. Everything will become clear to Kyle, who’ll realize Summer left to keep Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) in his life.
Summer will be sorry for deceiving Kyle, but he should understand that she felt backed into a corner.
Once Kyle presumably discusses all this with Summer on a video chat, he’ll decide to do something drastic.
That could involve paying Summer a visit in person, so Kyle just might hop on the Jabot jet and head to Milan for an in-person reunion.
While Amanda Sinclair craves and considers revenge on Sutton Ames (Jack Landron), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will offer updates to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Another text will come in that’s supposedly from Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), but Tessa will find the language too formal and cold.
Tessa just won’t think this text sounds like the real Mariah at all, but Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor) will be convinced it’s legit and will argue that Mariah isn’t coming home.
Sharon will be somewhat concerned – but not nearly enough for Tessa’s sake.
Tessa will know in her heart that something’s wrong, so she’ll be on a mission to get some answers and find Mariah.
In New York, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will discuss their honeymoon, so that makes it sound like a rushed wedding is coming up.
With Ashland’s finalized divorce behind him, there’ll be nothing standing in the way.
During the week of August 9-13, Victoria will drop a bomb on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
That could easily involve some new engagement news and the promise of some quick marriage and wedding plans.
As for Billy, his Adam obsession should continue to creep back in. Billy tends to get fixated on his hatred for Adam and how much he wants his foe to pay.
That may be why Jack will feel the need to watch his brother like a hawk.
Over with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), they’ll take stock of their relationship now that they’ve had some time to settle into it.
Will Nate and Elena remain on the same page about where they’re headed and the speed they should take things?
Since Mariah will still be missing, Sharon will finally let the alarm bells take over. She’ll start to think that maybe Tessa’s right about Mariah being in some kind of trouble.
