The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may fight for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) too late. Will Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) already be in his ex’s bed by then?
Y&R fans know Nick never wanted things to end this way with Phyllis. He really thought they were going to make their reunion work this time, but they crashed and burned instead.
Nick plans to find a path forward, but he could end up drifting backward instead.
November sweeps will leave Nick wondering if he made a mistake in letting Phyllis go. Nick will second-guess his decision to stop fighting for the love they shared, so that could lead to some bold moves.
Meanwhile, Jack will also struggle with his feelings for Phyllis and try to figure out how he should tackle this tough dilemma. Jack won’t want Phyllis to feel pressured into reuniting with him, especially since she’s in such an emotionally fragile place right now.
Viewers will see Jack proceed with caution and battle doubts about some of his own decisions. It’ll be a tricky situation for Jack, but he’s crazy about Phyllis and would love nothing more than to rebuild their future.
Now that Phyllis is single, it’s probably only a matter of time until Jack hooks up with her again.
Jack and Phyllis seem poised to become a reunited couple eventually, but they can start by letting their passion explode and nail down the next steps from there.
Of course, we can’t forget about Nick and his own lingering feelings for Phyllis. Since we know Nick will waver when it comes to this split, maybe he’ll finally decide to fight for a “Phick” reunion. Will it be too little, too late?
Nick might be in for a rude awakening if Jack’s already enjoying some hotel suite steaminess with Phyllis at that point. Maybe Nick could even barge in an unlocked door and witness a sizzling encounter for himself.
That would certainly help Nick accept that things are truly over with Phyllis! Whatever the case, Nick should eventually get the closure he needs, even if it’s painful.
