The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will investigate Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) as she prepares for her new rival’s return. Sally will plan to keep Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for herself, so she needs to be aware of Chelsea’s game and avoid any big surprises.
Sally is a master manipulator, but she knows she can’t rely on her scheming talent alone to keep Adam hooked – not when the bond between these exes is so strong. There’s always the risk of Adam being drawn back to Chelsea, so Sally will hope to prevent that from happening.
Sally will consider Chelsea a worthy adversary and will want to take advantage of Chelsea’s absence while she still can.
Y&R fans know Chelsea is on edge over this separation from Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and has been fighting with Adam over parenting decisions.
That friction is something that Sally can use in her favor if she plays her cards right. November sweeps will lead to some blurred lines when it comes to Sally’s personal and professional relationship with Adam.
Sally will succeed in mixing business with pleasure despite Adam’s previous desire to stick to a working relationship.
However, Sally will realize she can’t rest on her laurels here! She has to do her research and anticipate any tricks Chelsea might have up her sleeve. Chelsea is a con artist at heart and can manipulate just like Sally can.
Since Chelsea also has the benefit of romantic history and a child with Adam, Sally won’t underestimate her opponent.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Sally will lack her usual confidence! It just means Sally will be smart about preparing for battle and will prove she’s a force to be reckoned with.
