The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will remain confident that she can pull off her plan without getting caught. Chelsea arranged for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to be poisoned and then made Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) look like the obsessed stalker behind it.
However, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is struggling to believe Adam would take things this far. There are some upcoming hints about Sharon covering for Adam and seemingly siding with him despite the evidence that’s mounting.
Once Adam explains that Chelsea has secretly recovered and is out for revenge, Sharon may think it makes perfect sense. Anyone in Chelsea’s shoes would’ve been furious over that scandalous kiss photo.
Sharon also knows Chelsea can play dirty when she needs to – like that time she attacked Sharon in Crimson Lights and caused her to be hospitalized. Sharon should have a much easier time believing that Chelsea would frame Adam than to think Adam tried to kill Rey.
Nevertheless, someone indeed could’ve killed Rey – and that someone was Chelsea! Sharon feared Rey would die as she held vigil in the ICU. Rey was in bad shape and might not have made it without the antidote that was rushed in from Chicago.
One way or another, Sharon’s going to wise up to what really went down. Once Sharon feels certain of Chelsea’s guilt, she may march right over to confront her enemy. Y&R fans would love to see Chelsea and Sharon get fierce!
When Sharon was previously serving as a mental health expert on Chelsea’s team, she tried taunting Chelsea into making progress. Sharon might use a similar strategy here by trying to taunt Chelsea into leaping out of her wheelchair during this confrontation.
Whatever the case, Sharon and Chelsea should have a major showdown eventually. It may have to wait for a while since Sharon will be busy dealing with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) drama, but the time will eventually come for Sharon to confront Chelsea.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will want to put Chelsea on full blast for nearly killing her husband. Sharon will no doubt rip into Chelsea for going to such extremes, especially considering Sharon just beat cancer not too long ago.
Sharon has been through enough, but Chelsea could’ve forced her to go through with a funeral and burial for Rey, too!
It’d be great if Chelsea becomes so enraged that she ditches the charade and fights back. Chelsea might insist she wouldn’t have had to do something so drastic if Sharon had respected her own marriage vows.
