The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will make a surprising move to help Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), so we’ll see Sharon support Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) ex after a brutal rejection.
Y&R fans know Chelsea found some peace and clarity during her time away, which led to her hoping a reunion with Adam might happen. Chelsea would like to put the past to rest and move forward with Adam, but he’s been adamant about going their separate ways.
From Adam’s perspective, too much has happened between them at this point. Adam will always care about Chelsea, especially since she’s the mother of his child. He’s committed to keeping things civil for Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) sake, but he has no interest in getting back together romantically.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Chelsea will give up! Chelsea has been rather testy in recent video calls, but that’s only because she’s not getting the attention she wants. It seems like Adam is always busy with work, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) or both since the two tend to overlap.
Sally will indeed become a major rival for Chelsea upon her return to Genoa City, which means her old rivalry with Sharon will become less of an issue. Chelsea headed down a terrible road of jealousy due to Sharon and Adam’s powerful connection, so that led to Chelsea poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and trying to pin it on Adam.
Now Chelsea has thankfully moved beyond being quite so unhinged, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be completely well once she’s back in GC. That may be why Sharon will step up to support Chelsea, who’ll be down in the dumps over Adam’s refusal to get back together.
Chelsea may pour her heart out and try again to make a reunion happen. When Adam shuts Chelsea down once more, it could easily leave Chelsea moping over a cup of cold coffee at Crimson Lights.
Sharon tends to hover around the coffeehouse – just looking for someone in need of advice. It may be a bit awkward at first, but Y&R spoilers say there’ll be some scenes where Sharon and Chelsea actually connect somewhat.
Sharon will do her best to lift Chelsea’s spirits and perhaps urge to focus on the good things in her life – like Connor. Maybe Chelsea will decide she needs to stop pressuring Adam and ease him back into a relationship through family bonding.
Whatever the case, Chelsea won’t want Sally to win the prize, so she’ll lean on Sharon and will eventually try to reconnect with Adam at Christmastime. We’ll deliver updates as other news rolls in.
