The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) may kidnap Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and plan to abduct Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) newborn baby after the delivery. Mariah’s sudden disappearance could leave Abby and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) in panic mode if Stitch steals the surrogate away for his crazy plot!
Stitch clearly isn’t acting like his usual self these days, so he’s capable of anything at this point. This isn’t the Stitch we used to know, so we have to expect some wild stuff.
Stitch has already been lurking around the Chancellor mansion, where he spied on Mariah and her baby bump.
It seems like the doc is developing an unhealthy obsession with Abby’s unborn child. Stitch once again appears fixated on Mariah’s pregnancy in the July 6 episode of Y&R, so this has to be building somewhere – and it can’t be anywhere good!
Of course, Stitch has been watching Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze) slip away at his treatment facility, so that’s a factor in his apparent mental decline.
The real question is: What’s Stitch going to do next?
Stitch may determine that he’d like to take Abby’s son for himself – and that could set up Mariah’s kidnapping. As a doctor, Stitch will know what to do when it comes time to deliver the baby.
It’d be easier to just whisk Mariah away for a private delivery elsewhere than try to steal the newborn from an actual hospital.
We know Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will tackle a new case soon – and it’ll happen after Mariah’s out of touch.
Abby and Tessa will also end up clashing during the week of July 12-16, so all of this could be related to Mariah’s potential vanishing act.
Stitch could keep Mariah in captivity for a while and have Tessa freaking out along with Abby as they wait for answers. They may have to rely on Rey to get to the bottom of things and figure out Stitch is behind this nightmare.
That sounds like a great way to make this surrogacy storyline more interesting ahead of the baby’s birth!
