The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Hunter King) could meet a handsome Italian price if she takes that Milan job offer. Will Summer find a new man to replace Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)?
Every time Summer thinks she’s conquered the last obstacle to just be happy and enjoy a future with Kyle, some other hurdle seems to get in the way. Summer and Kyle think they’re destined to be together, but the universe certainly keeps sending them problems to keep them apart!
Even if Kyle and Summer are endgame, perhaps now would be a good opportunity to take a break from each other and explore some other romantic options.
If Kyle insists on getting so close to Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and letting her sink her hooks into him, there’s no reason for Summer to sit around and pine.
Summer could be living her best life in Italy if this creative director gig at Marchetti pans out. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) would love nothing more than to send Summer out of town, break up her engagement and take over her job.
However, this really would be a dream job for Summer – and it could lead to her dream guy, too.
At some point, will enough be enough? How many more challenges will Summer be willing to tackle for Kyle’s sake? Tara obviously has her heart set on becoming a united family with Kyle and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).
There’s not much room for Summer in the picture Tara is creating.
If Kyle lets himself fall into Tara’s web, it’ll serve him right if Summer dumps him and heads to Italy. Summer could meet some Italian hunk – maybe even someone of Italian nobility!
If not, he could at least be Summer’s perfect prince charming. There are plenty of other fish in the sea, including some incredibly attractive ones that Summer might meet if she moves.
Of course, that could bring the possibility of Summer falling in love and bringing her new man back to Genoa City. Summer’s normally the person battling jealousy and insecurities in this relationship, but it might be Kyle’s turn if she finds someone else.
It wouldn’t hurt to give Kyle some competition and introduce an attractive new male character down the road.
