The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, April 22, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be ready to confess his affair with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), but he could face two major snags.
Tara and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may try to stop Kyle from coming clean to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Naturally, Kyle might ignore their wishes and come clean to Ashland anyway. It doesn’t really matter since Ashland will remain focused on revenge no matter what!
As for Jack, he’ll return to Jabot and start strategizing. Jack will want to defend the company against Ashland’s attack on the family business, but he’d better brace for more blows.
Next, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will want some honest answers from her husband. Nikki knows Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is the kind of guy who will always do what he wants to do.
There’s not much point in trying to talk Victor out of his plans, but Nikki at least expects to be kept in the loop.
Nikki will push Victor for the truth on Thursday’s Y&R episode, so Victor will reveal a big secret. This could mean confirming that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was once hiding out on the ranch and has now been moved to a safer location.
Victor may admit he’s doing whatever he can to help Adam since the cops aren’t looking at Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) like they should. Of course, Victor could also divulge that he intends to meet with Ashland and steal back the Cyaxares deal.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has already guessed that Victor must be plotting something involving Ashland. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will show up to blast Victor soon enough, but it won’t accomplish much other than to widen the rift between them.
Victor will still meet with Ashland afterward, but that meeting won’t go as well as Victor had hoped. Ashland is an equally stubborn man – and he’s not someone who likes having his time wasted.
Y&R fans know Ashland was clear about wanting the offer upped, but Victor won’t see why he should since they already worked out a top-dollar deal.
Ashland will think Adam’s legal situation makes this a riskier move on his part, but Victor won’t think the GCPD’s incompetence should affect things. As far as Victor’s concerned, Adam is innocent – and Ashland needs to honor the original terms they agreed on.
Ashland won’t go for that idea, so look for him to call the deal off completely and take Cyaxares off the market. However, Ashland will grip his chest in pain and seemingly have a heart attack before the week’s over.
That’ll lead to some shocking new developments, so stay tuned to see how Victor handles Ashland’s medical crisis.
In the meantime, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will play Cupid. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) talks to Lola about the state of Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) marriage in Wednesday’s episode.
There might be something Mariah and Lola can do to help, but Lola may have to carry out the second phase of this on her own since Mariah has a business trip coming up.
Whatever the case, Lola will do some matchmaking on Thursday, April 22. That could mean Lola will try to push Rey and Sharon back together. It’s also possible Lola will play Cupid for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) since she’s been a big supporter of this duo.
Still, there’s no denying that Rey and Sharon are the couple with the most pressing issues! This is make-or-break-it time for Sharon and Rey’s marriage, so let’s hope Lola can help. As other Y&R news comes in, we’ll bring you updates.
