The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 19, tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will freak over Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) disturbing Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) news – and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will kick off a secret mission with Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) help.
For starters, Tessa will return home following her trip to see her sister, Crystal Porter (Morgan Obenreder).
It’s doubtful there’s any connection between the kidnapping and Tessa’s past, but she had to see what she could find out from Crystal anyway. Tessa is desperate for any clue that might lead to Mariah being found safe and sound.
Unfortunately, Tessa will still report back to Sharon with troubling news. It could involve another text or some milestone Mariah missed celebrating, but the point is there’ll be an alarming bombshell related to Mariah.
Sharon won’t like what she hears and may push Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to make this investigation even more of a priority.
In the meantime, Nick will have a talk with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) just like he told Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) he would. By the end of that conversation, Nick may trust Ashland even less than before.
We’ll see Nick head to the ranch for a meeting with Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as they all discuss their concerns about this speedy marriage.
Victoria has fallen head over heels and can’t wait for the wedding of her dreams in Tuscany, but Nick and Victor won’t want her getting hurt.
Some damage may already be done since Victoria’s so smitten, but it’d be better for Victoria to find out any dirty little secrets before she ties the knot this October.
That’s why Victor will dig into Ashland’s history and try to find the things no one else knows. Since Nick will be so worried, he’ll nudge Victor into taking action and protecting Victoria from her risky fiancé.
Ashland could be faking his illness like Victor previously suggested, so there might be something in his past that puts Victor on the path to proving it.
Regardless, Y&R fans will see Victor and Nick on the same page about doing whatever it takes to help Victoria.
