The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, December 30, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have one last chance to seal her New Year’s Eve plans – and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will come clean to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also fear a disaster might be brewing, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
At Society, Sally will run into Adam and score another shot at talking him into spending New Year’s Eve together. She’ll hope Adam’s willing to do nothing together since neither one of them will have plans.
Of course, Adam will insist that depends on the nothing Sally wants to do. He may worry Sally’s expecting more than a friendly evening of conversation – and deep down, Sally is no doubt hoping for a midnight kiss.
Adam will have to decide whether he’s willing to risk a night alone with Sally. He should battle concerns since it’d upset Chelsea if the news got back to her.
Adam isn’t keen on rocking the boat since he’s trying to keep the line of communication open and proceed peacefully as co-parents.
As if Adam didn’t already have his hands full with Sally, he’ll have to deal with more Chelsea drama. That’s because Chelsea will come clean about something in Thursday’s episode.
Will whatever Chelsea confesses touch Adam’s heart? Could it help Chelsea make the reunion progress she wants?
Regardless, Adam’s in for a messy night and an even messier new year! In the meantime, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will talk about their decision to live together.
Nate will be eager to wake up with Elena in his arms and will feel like they’re going to start the new year off right.
Elena will agree she’s ready for the next chapter with Nate, but 2022 will come with some challenges for this couple.
Nate and Elena will soak up some New Year’s Eve peace for now, but the months ahead will bring some obstacles and conflict to work through.
Over with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), they’ll have a special New Year’s resolution on their minds.
Chloe and Kevin will make a pact about accomplishing this new goal, so it’ll be interesting to see if they can pull it off.
Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will plan on joining Chloe and Kevin for New Year’s Eve, but there’s always room for one more.
It looks like Lauren will push Phyllis to join them, but Phyllis will downplay the possibility of fun – especially if a disastrous catfight breaks out between Lauren and Chloe.
Lauren may promise peace, but the truth is Phyllis would much rather spend New Year’s Eve with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Is there a chance Jack will make a surprise homecoming despite his plan to stay away on business for a few weeks?
Jack might at least get Phyllis on another video chat, so we’ll see how the rest of her night goes. As other Y&R details become available, we’ll deliver updates.
