The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 20, tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will hope to change Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) mind about moving out. Rey doesn’t think there’s anything Sharon can say or do at this point.
They’ve been over their Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) issues a thousand times, but all this talking hasn’t done any good whatsoever.
However, Sharon will work to convince Rey that there’s something worth saving between them. She’ll want Rey to understand that Adam is her past, not her future.
Sharon may acknowledge that she has a connection with Adam and perhaps always will, but that doesn’t mean he’s the man she’s meant to spend the rest of her life with.
Rey may once again point out that actions speak louder than words. Sharon tries to act like she’s willing to put Rey first, but she never does. When offered the choice between being honest with her husband and protecting her ex, Sharon chooses Adam every single time.
Sharon will fight hard to salvage this marriage, but it looks like she’ll only manage to escalate the tension. Sharon will wonder if Rey’s really moving out forever, but he’ll just know he can’t stay in that house with her tonight.
It sounds like Sharon and Rey will leave things on an incredibly strained note as Rey leaves to spend the night elsewhere.
Meanwhile, there’ll be another battle taking place across town. Since Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will be in Genoa City, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will corner him and perhaps hurl some accusations. Although Jack wanted to wait for proof, he may decide Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is right.
If Jack and Kyle just wait around, it could be too late to prevent Ashland’s destruction. Jack will likely bring up all the nasty rumors about Jabot’s unsafe working conditions and the harsh treatment of their employees.
Jack may wonder if Ashland knows how such blatant lies began to spread.
Ashland might fire back that it’s not his fault if Jabot has some appalling secrets. He’ll probably act like the truth always comes out and suggest Jack should place blame on his young co-CEO.
By the end of this discussion, Jack should be clear on the fact that Ashland indeed started the rumors. This means war, so Ashland and Jack had better be ready for anything.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will get a visit from Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) in his hotel suite. Tara should remain in panic mode over Ashland’s fury since he obviously knows she cheated with Kyle.
Both Kyle and Tara may worry about the possibility that Ashland will find out the paternity truth, too. That could send Ashland’s anger into the stratosphere – that is if he doesn’t suspect Kyle’s the father already!
Summer Newman (Hunter King) will find Tara and Kyle together soon, so that’ll make her even more unsettled about their old connection.
As for Kyle, he’ll resolve to make a big confession. Does that mean Kyle will fall on his sword and admit his affair to Ashland? Kyle might hope that owning up to what he did might help.
Then again, Kyle might plan to come clean to Jack about Harrison being his biological son. That’s a crucial piece of information that Jack really needs to know! We’ll provide updates as more Y&R news becomes available.
