The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, October 12 Recap – Gaines Threatens Ashland – Victoria Confronts Billy – Noah Stops Nick

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 12, reveals that Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) will threaten Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) before Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) confronts Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also stop Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) from leaving Tuscany, so here’s what Y&R viewers can look forward to.

First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will assure Victoria that he has any potential wedding threat under control.

After Victor leaves Victoria and Ashland alone, Ashland will admit he had a little trouble breathing earlier. He’ll add that Billy came to his rescue, so Victoria will wonder where Billy is now.

Although Victoria will be frustrated with Billy, she’ll insist she’s glad he came. Victoria will look forward to seeing the look on Billy’s face when he realizes he came all this way for nothing.

Meanwhile, Billy will raise suspicions by sniffing around and seeming on edge. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be concerned about what Billy’s up to – and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ultimately confront his brother.

However, Billy will act like he’s just trying to find Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the kids after their recent arrival. He’ll seem offended by Jack’s suspicions, but Jack will think they’re warranted under the circumstances.

In their room, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will vow to support whatever Nick decides when it comes to staying or leaving.

Suddenly, Noah will arrive and get updates on Nick’s potential departure. He’ll hear about Nick going behind Victoria’s back, which led to her feeling betrayed.

Noah will encourage Nick to stick around and fight for forgiveness, so Nick will at least stay for the cocktail party and go from there.

Next, Leslie Brooks (Janice Lynde) will mix and mingle a bit before playing a beautiful piece on the piano.

That’ll lead to a warm moment as Phyllis and Jack enjoy the music together, but there’ll be some trouble later.

Phyllis will complain about never saying the right thing when it comes to Nick’s sister. She’ll know she’s an outsider in the Newman family, but Jack will point out Phyllis isn’t an outsider with Nick.

Phyllis will push Jack to stop overcompensating and will argue that he doesn’t have to prove anything to her.

Phyllis will think Jack’s being supportive of her relationship with Nick to the point that it’s exhausting. Jack won’t get why having her back is a bad thing, but she’ll want him to stop being so careful.

When Phyllis suggests things should just go back to normal between them, Jack will flash a small smile. “Whatever you say,” Jack will insist.

Victoria and Ashland will ultimately show up at the cocktail party, which Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also appear at.

Ashland will ask where Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) is right before a delighted Harrison runs into Father’s arms.

Back with Noah, he’ll greet Victoria and meet Ashland.

When the topic of Ashland’s treatments comes up, Noah will assume he doesn’t want to get into that right now. Ashland will insist it’s fine and will crack a joke about “’til death do us part” being included in their vows.

Victoria will apologize for Ashland’s warped sense of humor, but Noah will think they’re going to get along just fine. He’ll mention convincing Nick to stick around and hope that Victoria isn’t mad about it.

Nikki will also push Nick to be patient with Victoria and stay for the rest of the wedding festivities.

At one point during the party, Victoria will smile at Nick from a distance and get a smile in return. It’ll seem like the tension is finally starting to lift between the siblings.

Summer will enjoy a moment alone with Noah, so he’ll talk about admiring how she’s settled down with Kyle.

That’s something Noah would like for himself someday, so Summer will gush over all the women she could set him up with if he moved to Milan. Noah will admit he’s indeed been considering a change of scenery.

Back with Jack, he’ll have a sweet father-son scene with Kyle as he shares how proud he is. Kyle will feel like he learned from the best when it comes to putting Harrison’s happiness first.

Victor will get everyone’s attention for a toast that welcomes Ashland to the family.

Ashland will privately thank Victor for his kind words afterward and will dash off to find Billy. Instead, Ashland will run into Gaines.

When Ashland asks what Gaines and Billy are planning, Gaines will suggest he doesn’t want to ruin the surprise. He’ll taunt Ashland by suggesting he could walk in that party and reveal how Ashland built his empire on deceit.

Gaines will add that he could wait until just before the ceremony – or simply make Ashland so nervous that he calls the whole thing off.

After Victoria appears, she’ll seem unsettled at the sight of Ashland and Gaines’ tense meeting.

Gaines will tell the “lovebirds” to enjoy their evening before walking away, but Ashland will assure Victoria that he can call security and let them deal with it.

Victoria will shut down that plan since she’ll know exactly how to handle this.

Over with Billy again, he’ll barge in his room and throw Lily off.

“Damn it, where are you?” Billy will snarl as he enters. Lily will admit she expected a warmer welcome and will explain that the kids are napping.

Billy will try to cover, but he’ll eventually admit he scored persuasive evidence that Ashland committed fraud. He’ll add that Ashland made himself a beneficiary to Camilla Rhodes’ will, which Gaines confirmed after Billy gave him a duffel bag of cash.

Lily will be upset over being kept in the dark on this news, but Billy will insist he had to move fast.

Unfortunately, Billy will reveal that he hasn’t told Victoria the truth yet since Gaines is missing.

Lily will think it was a bad idea to bring Gaines there and will wonder if Billy was plotting some “theatrical newsworthy exposure” right before the wedding.

Billy will deny it, but he’ll worry Gaines may have a plan of his own. He’ll know that if Gaines wrecks the ceremony, Victoria will never forgive her ex for setting it in motion.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Victoria will declare as she bursts in with Ashland.
