The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, October 19 Recap – Sally Snaps Bedroom Pic of Jack & Phyllis – Billy’s Gaines Story

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 19, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will snap a bedroom pick of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also come up with a new Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) story angle, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

In their room, Billy will suggest skipping the reception to celebrate with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) privately. Lily will worry Billy just wants to sulk since his plan failed, but he’ll promise his amorous feelings for Lily are the only reason.

Billy will offer to go cut a rug if that’s what Lily wants, but she’ll decide he’s right about not needing an audience.

After lovemaking, Billy will stand deep in thought by the window. He’ll think there’s only one way to come out of this Gaines mess that actually works for ChancComm.

Billy will think they have to slip the story around and make Gaines out to be the bad guy – the loser who made a career out of blackmailing people.

Lily will grow concerned since Billy can’t seem to let the story go. She’ll admit it worries her when Billy gets obsessed like this, but Billy will argue that he’s just looking for solutions.

Lily will push Billy to come to bed, so he will until she falls asleep. Then, Billy will get dressed and sneak out of the room to confront Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Meanwhile, Phyllis will bump into Jack and call him out on why he’s ducking out of the reception.

Phyllis will think it’s because it’s hard to be single at events like this – and Jack will eventually admit that’s what he’s struggling with. It’s just hard when there are so many perfect couples around.

Phyllis will offer to be Jack’s “wingman,” but he won’t be interested. After the conversation shifts to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Phyllis will decide they should skip the reception and have a drink in her room instead.

Phyllis will fill Jack in on Nick needing to get a few things off his chest with Victor.

Phyllis will explain how she doesn’t know how to help Nick. She’ll feel like everything she says causes a flareup and will fear she’s the kind of person who needs drama.

Jack truly won’t believe Phyllis is that person anymore and will refuse to let her self-sabotage with all the self-blame.

Over with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), they’ll talk about his dating life back in London. Noah fell fast and hard for another artist, but she dumped him for someone else without a second thought.

Tessa will be sorry and insist Noah deserves better, so he’ll hope he gets it right next time.

Next, Nick will demand to speak with Victor alone, so Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will make himself scarce. After Victor invites Nick to say whatever it is he has to say, Nick will unload all his frustration.

Nick will rant about being kept in the dark on Gaines and how nobody seems to care about Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past.

Nick will be upset over how he’s become the bad guy in all of this. He’ll complain that Victoria will barely talk to him and won’t like how Adam has become Victor’s go-to guy for dirty work.

Nick will think Victor is back to his old tricks of playing his kids against each other and will question his motives.

After Victor chuckles and asks if Nick’s finished, he’ll explain that he kept Nick out of the loop because Nick wanted to mend fences with Victoria.

Victor will argue that Nick wouldn’t have been eager to protect his new brother-in-law if he knew the whole truth.

Nick will fret over how Victor took care of Gaines, but Victor will urge his son not to worry about it. After more complaints, Nick will snarl that it’s getting awfully hard to know what’s right and wrong in this family.

As for Sally, she’ll accept compliments from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) on the wedding dress.

Sally will admit she thinks Adam stood her up and will eventually down her glass after declaring it’s his loss.

After Sally saunters off, Adam will appear and seem perplexed when she’s not around. Next, Nick will grill Adam about Gaines, but he won’t score any info about how the former lawyer was handled.

Nick will think Adam must feel pretty good about his infiltration back into the core of the Newman family, but Adam will insist family is actually important to him.

Once Adam returns to his room, he’ll pour himself a drink and relax on the bed. Sally will knock and barge in after Adam asks who it is. She’ll tease Adam about ditching her and will help herself to a drink before they toast.

Sally will admit there’s only one person she cares about winning over – and that’s Adam. After a kiss, Adam and Sally will nearly escalate their passion on the bed. It’ll be Adam who pumps the brakes since he won’t be ready to go all in with someone.

Sally will act like she’s fine with a one-night stand, but Adam won’t believe that. He’ll think Sally wants more than he can give her right now and won’t want to be selfish.

Sally will accept that decision, but she’ll warn that it only makes Adam look like a thoughtful and decent guy.

Sally will hope that one day Adam will be ready to go all in with someone – and she’ll hope that someone will be her. Adam will give Sally a kiss on the cheek before she exits his bedroom.

As Sally is passing by Phyllis’ room, she’ll see “Red” and Jack looking cozy all leaned up against each other.

After pulling out her phone, Sally will snap a pic of them sitting on the bed together and roll her eyes slightly as she struts off.

Back with Billy, he’ll find Victor and push for answers about how he dealt with Gaines. Victor will stay tight-lipped and will add that Victoria isn’t Billy’s business anymore.

Victor will also note that the clouds are coming out, so Billy will need to find another career and life. Victor will warn that he’s going to take everything Billy owns!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy had better be ready for the battle that’s brewing, which is sure to get ugly.
