The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, May 3, teases that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will be nervous about Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) search for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) since there’s so much riding on it.
Nevertheless, Sharon will be left to wait at the hospital in Genoa City and hope for the best.
Thankfully, Sharon will soon have Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to keep her company. Mariah will tear up over Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) need for a kidney and will wonder if she’s the right blood type. Sharon will confirm that Mariah isn’t – and she’ll think it’s just as well considering Mariah’s pregnant.
After Mariah finds out Adam is the only match in the family, she obviously won’t be thrilled about that. However, Sharon will shut down Mariah’s complaining since this is the time to come together and be positive for Faith’s sake.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will also pass along updates to Sharon, though they won’t be what this worried mom wants to hear. Sadly, things won’t be looking good for Faith when it comes to steroids and the possibility of reversing the kidney damage.
Elena will feel like Sharon needs to prepare for dialysis as Faith’s best option if there’s no improvement soon and no living donor is found. Of course, Nick will be working hard to lock in that living donor. He’ll track Adam down in the storm cellar of the Montalvo place while a tornado whizzes outside.
On Monday’s Young and the Restless, Adam will be taken aback by Nick’s arrival and will nearly attack him with a crowbar.
There’ll be tension between the brothers right away since Adam will think this must be some sort of trap. However, Nick will argue that he would’ve just brought the cops there if that was the case.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will insist Faith needs a kidney – and Adam is her best shot at getting one. Adam will find out shares the same rare blood type as Faith and will offer sympathy, but he’ll argue that he can’t risk going back to Genoa City.
Adam will want Nick to locate another donor, but Nick will point out that Faith could be on the waitlist for years.
Nick will make it clear that he’s not leaving without Adam. He’ll ultimately bargain with his brother and insist he can arrange for Adam to escape right after the surgery.
Adam will express doubts about trusting Nick, but Nick will suggest saving his daughter is all that matters to him.
Nick will convince Adam by working the Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) angle and making Adam see that their love for their kids is something they can agree on.
Adam will decide to get tested and see if he can be a match, so he’ll quickly pack up some things and head for the door with Nick.
Before Adam and Nick can exit to board the Newman jet, they’ll realize the door’s jammed. Adam will guess they’ll be stuck down there for a while, but Nick will refuse to let this stop them.
Since time is of the essence for Faith, Nick will be determined to break out of there ASAP.
Back in GC, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will discuss expansion plans for the Abbott-Winters foundation. Jack and Devon will spend some time reflecting on Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and nailing down their plans.
Devon will be excited about a special event in memory of Neil that he intends to host with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
After Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) gets a special delivery from Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), she’ll unbox some honeymoon reminders.
Chance’s gifts will indeed remind Abby of the love she has for her husband, but that’ll bring some bittersweet moments since Chance isn’t home by her side. Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will continue to be Abby’s rock while Chance is off on his mission.
At Crimson Lights, Elena and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will talk about Faith’s medical crisis. It’ll leave Lola thinking back to Sharon and Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) wedding, which brought so much joy and hope.
Now the family’s stuck in this world of drama, but The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam could provide some light at the end of the tunnel during the week of May 3-7.
CDL will have tons of other great Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news for you, so pop back in soon.
