The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 3, teases that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have to face his worst Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) fear while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) gets busted in LA. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also deal with a revenge block thanks to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), so here’s what fans can expect.
Kyle will reconvene with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who just rejected Sally once again. Jack can’t trust Sally and has no interest in building a relationship with her as a result.
Things are a little different for Kyle, who has no choice but to keep Tara in the picture. Tara is the mother of Kyle’s child – no matter what she might’ve done.
Although Kyle will know there’s a good chance Tara ran Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of town, he’ll worry about rocking the boat too much.
It’s a delicate situation since Tara could just pack Harrison up and leave Genoa City behind. That’s the last thing Kyle wants since he’s become so attached to his son.
Jack will wonder if Kyle could find it in his heart to offer forgiveness, but that might be pushing it!
Tara threatened Summer and used Harrison as a manipulation tool, so these will be pretty tough things to get past. Kyle will wait for proof of Tara’s guilt, but he may not be sure what he’s going to do once he gets it.
Speaking of proof, Y&R spoilers say it’s indeed on the way! In Los Angeles, Forrester Creations will get a special visitor when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) joins Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Eric will be in the middle of a meeting with Angelina Marchetti (Cristina Serafina), who’ll give her new creative director a glowing review.
Angelina will insist she’s so happy to have Summer Newman (Hunter King) on her team and can’t thank Eric enough for pointing her in the right direction.
In a moment alone, Phyllis will get the dirt she needs on Sally. Eric will explain that he granted Sally’s wish for Summer’s recommendation, so Phyllis will let him know he got hoodwinked!
Later, Phyllis will round Angelina and Eric up for a selfie – one that’ll promptly be sent to Sally back in Genoa City.
Sally will realize Phyllis is dangerously close to exposing her plot, but she’ll try to hide her nervousness from Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).
At Newman Media, Adam will hope to please Victor by bringing back his ruthless side. The problem will be Adam’s target choice since it’s Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) he’ll want revenge on.
Victoria is trying to do a nice thing for Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), who’s terminally ill if you believe his story.
Victor will think they need to cut Victoria a little slack, so Adam may think this is quite the about-face.
Adam might remind Victor of his own warning about there being no place for sentimentality in business.
However, Adam is mostly focused on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) these days anyway, so he should relent for now and let Victor have it his way.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria could pay a steep price for trusting Ashland, but something tells us she’ll have a few tricks up her sleeve when the time comes!
