The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, April 14 Recap – Chance Messages Abby – Jack Dumps Sally – Devon & Amanda Kiss

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 14, reveals that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will arrive for a special spa night that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) arranged at The Grand Phoenix.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will admit that Abby has very specific instructions for this celebratory evening.

After Lola suggests there’s a surprise for Abby as well and hands over a gift bag, Phyllis will assume she knows what this night is about. Mariah will admit the IVF worked, though they’re trying to keep the news low key.

As Phyllis dashes off to make sure tonight is perfect, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will look in her direction by the elevator.

At the Chancellor mansion, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will discuss the crummy timing of Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) mission – as well as the possibility that Mariah might have twins.

Talk will turn to some concerns Nina has now that Mariah is actually pregnant, but Abby will walk in right as Nina brings them up. When Abby confronts her, Nina will fib that she’s worried about the risks of spa night for Mariah.

Abby will promise that she’s done her research, so Mariah won’t be getting in the hot tub, sauna or anything else on the pregnancy do-not-do list.

Abby will insist she won’t be doing anything on that list in solidarity. She’ll push Nina and Abby to join the baby celebration, but they’ll politely decline and send Abby on her way.

Once Abby’s gone, Ashley will push Nina to reveal her real concerns since it’s obvious she lied. Nina will admit she’s worried about the emotions that’ll be stirred up for Mariah as the baby grows inside her.

Nina will also worry about Devon’s reaction once this abstract idea becomes a reality.

However, Ashley will reassure Nina since they had contracts drawn up. They’ll agree that Abby and Chance are going to have lots of support and wisdom as they go on this journey.

Nina and Ashley will toast to their children and their children’s children as they look to the future.

Back at The Grand Phoenix, Mariah will talk about Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) being on the road. Lola will note that Tessa will be home soon to do lots of pampering.

Talk will turn to Lola’s single status before Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) arrives looking glum. When Lola wonders what’s up, Elena will insist it’s just work stuff.

Abby will show up to get this party started and will give Mariah a pregnancy sash along with a tiara. Mariah and the others will also give Abby a Mommy-to-be sash and her own tiara since they want her to feel just as special.

Elena will take a picture of the Chancellor Baby crew before letting Abby make a video for the baby.

After Abby corners Phyllis to admit the party’s great, Phyllis will congratulate her on the baby news. Both Abby and Phyllis will agree this nice moment never happened. Soon after, everyone will start complaining about how chilly it’s getting.

Sally will approach Phyllis at the front desk to ask if there’s something wrong with the heat. She’ll insist her room is downright polar.

Phyllis will face a flood of phone calls from guests without heat in their rooms – and Sally will flash a little smirk as she watches the chaos.

At Society on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will find Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wrapping up an irritated phone call with Phyllis. Victor will admit he wanted to pay for Abby’s party, but Phyllis insisted on taking care of everything herself.

Jack will find out the embryo transfer worked and will assume this is welcome news considering everything Victor’s had on his mind. Victor will think Jack is talking about the failed deal with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), but Jack will insist he was talking about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Jack will point out that he used to be friends with Adam, but Victor will argue that Jack abandoned Adam when push came to shove. Nevertheless, Jack will insist he really does hope everything works out for Adam. Victor will assure Jack that it will before he saunters out.

At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will praise Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) for how she stood up to Jordan (Madison Thompson).

When Nick corners Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) by the counter, he’ll bring up the fact that Adam bolted from his hideout.

Nick will assume that Sharon knew that, but she’ll insist she didn’t tip Adam off and pushed him to turn himself in. Regardless, Sharon will argue that Nick should be happy that Adam disappeared, but Nick won’t think it’s that simple.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) will admit he wishes he’d had more time with their dad, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).

Devon will put on an old jazz record that Neil loved and give Moses some headphones so he can listen. That’ll keep Moses occupied once Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) shows up to speak with Devon.

Amanda will tell Devon about her leave of absence and how she’s learning all this info about her father post-mortem. It’s making Amanda determined to find out the truth. Devon will be glad Amanda came over and is still able to talk to him like this.

Suddenly, Moses will interrupt with a proposition. He’ll get permission to join Faith at Crimson Lights right as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) arrives to see him. Moses will admit he was on his way out and will indeed make his exit.

Nate will tell Amanda and Devon that he was hoping to hang out with Moses, so Amanda will suggest Nate can hang out with them instead. Amanda will even try to excuse herself, but Nate will note that there’s no need to leave on his account.

Nate will mention being a bit messed up in the head since he realized things would never work out with Elena, but he’ll ultimately take off.

Afterward, Amanda will note that Devon looked sad about Nate’s updates. Devon will confess that’s true due to his mistake and role in Nate not finding happiness with Elena. Devon will be sorry about how he handled things with Amanda as well.

Amanda will talk about how her own life has been one big secret, but she won’t want to live that way anymore – not with her family and not with Devon.

Since Devon will want to be honest with Amanda, he’ll tell her he has strong feelings that are sometimes clouded by who she looks like.

Devon will acknowledge he sometimes feels disloyal to Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) – and he’s struggled over what he feels for Elena as well.

However, none of that changes what Devon wants now and that’s Amanda. Devon will want a life with Amanda if she’ll give him a chance, so Amanda will lean in for a steamy kiss.

At the coffeehouse, Faith will hope it’s OK with Nick and Sharon if Moses comes over. She’ll point out that Moses is living with Devon and will be attending Walnut Grove, so she’ll be hoping to help Moses get a feel for things.

Once Moses arrives, he’ll speak with Nick briefly and sit down with Faith. Moses will wonder if Faith wants to study sometime since they’re both playing catch-up, but Faith will admit she’s going to be pretty busy with rehab and community service.

Faith will come clean about someone pretending to be her friend and playing a cruel joke, which led to Faith stealing tequila and driving under the influence.

Faith will get it if this is the part where Moses has to leave, but he’ll be so sorry that happened to Faith and will note that he’s been to AA meetings with Neil before. Moses will assure Faith that he’s not scared and isn’t going anywhere.

Back with Victor, he’ll show up at Crimson Lights with a message from Adam to Sharon. Victor will admit Adam is safe, but he’ll note that Adam doesn’t want to rely on Sharon and complicate her life. Sharon will snap that it’s a little late for that.

Victor will refuse to fill Sharon in on Adam’s whereabouts since she spilled to the cops before. After Victor hears Faith laughing with Moses, he’ll note that it’s nice to see his granddaughter happy again.

Victor will point out that Moses is Neil’s son and has a good head on his shoulders.

That’ll lead Victor to reflect on when he used to lean on Neil in times of crisis. Victor will tell Sharon that we all need someone we can count on, so Sharon will seemingly drop her head in shame over betraying Adam.

At The Grand Phoenix again, Phyllis will ask Nick what he knows about boilers since the heat still isn’t working. Nick will agree to go down and see what he can do to help the crew.

Meanwhile, Sally will wrap up a call by thanking someone and promising to be in touch. Phyllis will corner Sally to ask if she’s happy with her handiwork, but Sally will deny having anything to do with the broken heat.

Phyllis will want Sally to save her innocent act, but Sally will wonder why she’d sabotage the hotel when she lives there, too. “Not for long, you don’t,” Phyllis will insist.

Sally will argue that she’s not going anywhere – and if she really did want to get back at Phyllis, she wouldn’t resort to juvenile pranks.

When Phyllis asks what Sally would do instead, Sally will promise it would be a “hell of a lot more inventive.” Sally will suggest that she’d come at Phyllis in ways she never dreamed of and would leave her enemy wondering what hit her.

Just then, Sally will look over and notice Jack standing there with a stunned expression.

Sally will want to explain, but Jack will think her comments were pretty self-explanatory. Sally will assume Phyllis set this up, but Jack will argue that he came to see Sally. “I guess I have maybe…for the first time, I’ve seen the real you,” Jack will insist.

Sally will argue that what Jack heart was completely out of context, but Jack will shut the conversation down. He’ll wish Sally well and admit he’s not interested in anything between them going any further.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say dumped Sally will have to figure out her next move, so stay tuned!

Meanwhile, Abby will be overjoyed by a surprise text from Chance. He’ll promise that Abby is in his thoughts, but he’ll point out that there have been some stumbling blocks with the case he’s on.

Chance will assure Abby that he’ll come home to her as soon as he can. He’ll let Abby know that his heart is still with her on their journey to create a family and will express his love.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say some Abby will cling to hope for Chance’s return, but some bombshells could shake things up down the road. CDL will have tons of other sizzling Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news for you, so make us your top Y&R source.
