The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that on Wednesday’s episode, August 4, we get a inside look at Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) hostage situation. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) hit a brick wall when trying to get help finding Mariah. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) confronted Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and even offered her a way out of this messy situation.
Mariah Copeland’s Captivity
Y&R spoilers reveal that Wednesday’s episode focused on Mariah as she deals with being held hostage. The pregnant surrogate doesn’t even know why she’s there and screams out in frustration to try and get answers. However, she didn’t get a response.
Mariah is trying to stay calm to protect the baby and believes that everyone must be searching for her – but she’s starting to lose it.
Y&R Spoilers: Jack Abbott’s Frustration
Jack is frustrated with Mariah’s MIA status as he doesn’t know that she has been kidnapped. Mariah allegedly sent him a text to ask for a few days off after she returned from her business trip.
It’s been a lot longer than that and work is beginning to slip through the cracks. Jack needs to hear from Mariah quickly or he will have no choice but to replace her.
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) claimed that she was positive that Mariah would be back that day. However, fans know that is probably not going to happen.
Tessa Porter Hits Brick Wall
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Tessa is trying to analyze Mariah’s messages. She wonders if Mariah is texting in code to secretly ask for help. She also has the thought that maybe Mariah isn’t even sending the messages.
Tessa tries talking to several people to get help but hits a brick wall at every turn. Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) believes that Mariah is choosing not to come home. Abby also blames herself and assumes that Mariah was put under too much pressure.
Sharon doesn’t take Tessa’s concerns seriously and suggests that Mariah is overwhelmed with the pregnancy.
So, she turns to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to try and get the police to use their high-tech equipment to locate the missing woman. However, he also brushes her off and says “we aren’t there yet.”
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tara Locke Cornered
Jack tries to get Tara to open up about what is really going on with her and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Jack needs to know if Tara and Sally worked together to get rid of Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Tara doesn’t seem to be taking the bait, not even when Jack uses it as a way to help her get out of this mess.
Tara is warned that if she doesn’t accept Jack’s help, then this whole plan will explode in her face.
What will Tara’s final decision be and how will it affect the futures of Sally, Summer, Kyle and Jack?
