The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, December 15 Recap – Paul Decides Chance’s Fate – Billy & Lily Fake Public Fight

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 15, reveals that Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will decide Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) GCPD fate while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fake a public fight. Here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to in Wednesday’s action-packed episode.

At the ranch, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will wonder how things have been for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) living on the Newman property.

Adam will realize Chelsea’s fishing for info on his relationship with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), though she’ll insist it’s merely about curiosity.

After Adam admits he barely sees Sharon anymore, he’ll note that he’s focused on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Newman Media. Chelsea will ask if Adam missed her, but he won’t know how to answer that question.

Adam won’t want to get into the topic of whether he can forgive and forget Chelsea framing him for attempted murder – not when Connor’s about to come home from school. When Connor returns home moments later, he’ll be thrilled over his reunion with Chelsea.

While Connor’s off showing Chelsea his favorite horses in the stables, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will ask what Chelsea’s return means to Adam. However, Adam will contend that he has no future with Chelsea.

Adam will argue that they’re strictly co-parents, but Victor will offer a reminder that Chelsea is toxic for him – and so was Adam’s relationship with Sharon.

Although Adam won’t be thrilled over his father’s romantic critiques, Victor will insist that Adam’s romantic entanglements are what always screws up his life.

Soon after, Adam will receive another anonymous video of Billy’s recent outburst in the coffeehouse. Victor will think they need to find out who send the footage and whether they can be trusted, so Adam will intend to get to the bottom of it.

When Chelsea and Connor return, Adam will decide it’d be all right for Connor to stay with his mom at the penthouse tonight. That’ll delight Connor as well as Chelsea, who’ll gaze at Adam and get his nod of approval.

At Crimson Lights, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will admit Chance is set to have a meeting with Paul sooner than planned.

Today’s the day Rey finds out if his former partner will be his future partner, so he’ll admit he’d like to have his buddy back on the job with him.

At the Chancellor mansion, Chance will assure Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) that this is just a preliminary conversation to map out a timeline for his return to the force.

Chance will promise Abby that he intends to ease into it and will add that his family is his priority.

When Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) arrives, she’ll deliver good news about the intel Chance provided to the follow-up team. That intel led to the safe house attackers getting caught, which led to their leader being hunted down, too.

Abby will be thrilled since this means they’re officially safe and can have their lives back.

Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will think back to his recent conversation with Chance and admit to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) that he’s worried about him.

Devon will think the best thing he can do right now is spend as much time with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor as he can.

Later, Devon will stop by the Chancellor mansion, so Chance will thank him for listening last night. Devon will learn the case Chance was working on wrapped up, but Chance will have to take a raincheck on the celebration.

After Chance leaves for his meeting, Devon and Abby will discuss their concerns about Chance. Abby will hate that Chance feels guilty and will realize she’ll just have to be patient with his recovery.

Once Chance has his preliminary conversation with Paul at the station, he’ll head to Crimson Lights with Rey. Chance will bump into Christine again there and thank her for everything she did while he was gone.

Christine will downplay her actions and will talk about how it wasn’t easy telling everyone Chance was presumed dead – though she won’t blame Chance over the situation.

After Chance takes off abruptly, Christine will talk to Rey about Paul’s meeting with Chance.

Christine will admit Paul thought it might be a little too soon for Chance to come back to work and will suggest there’s no need to rush things. Rey will suspect that Chance’s mission affected him more than any of them realize.

When Chance comes home, he’ll glare as Devon shares a sweet moment with Dominic. Devon will assure Dominic that he’s going to be visiting all the time, so Chance will see just how strong their bond is.

At Society, Billy will tell Lily to follow his lead when they run into Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle). Billy will talk about being a man of leisure and will want to buy Ashland a drink, which Ashland will decline.

Billy will then suggest a poker game for fun and invite Ashland to name the stakes.

Ashland will refuse to feed Billy’s addiction, so Billy will scoff over that being where Ashland draws the line. They’ll bicker until Victoria pushes Billy to attend a gamblers’ anonymous meeting and leaves with Ashland.

Lily will privately express concern over Billy’s plan working too well. She’ll fear he’s going to get caught up in the façade, but Billy will promise he’s totally in control.

Lily will want to bring Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in the loop since it’d be cruel to make him think Billy was genuinely going off the rails. Billy will counter that it’ll add legitimacy to his bogus downward spiral if Jack believes it, too.

When Billy wonders if Lily wants someone else to hold him accountable, she’ll assure Billy that she trusts him. Billy will suggest they’re in this together and can make a decision on whether to bring Jack in before he comes home from his trip.

The disguised woman who’s been lurking around will come in, so Billy will point her out to Lily and admit she’s been following him the last few days.

Lily will think that must be Sally, so Billy will suggest they should give her a show! That’ll lead to a staged fight over playing cards that ends with Lily walking out on Billy.

In Victoria’s office, she’ll worry to Ashland about what’ll happen if Lily leaves Billy. Victoria will feel like Billy’s going to be in an even more dangerous place without someone to rein him in.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy’s plan will keep working like a charm, but there’s the potential for disaster if he isn’t careful.
