The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, June 2 Recap – Tara & Harrison Disappear – Adam’s Surprising Offer to Chloe

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 2, reveals that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) will disappear from the Abbott mansion, so Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will panic. Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will make a surprising offer to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

At The Grand Phoenix, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will fill Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in on the paternity proof and how Harrison already feels like family.

Phyllis will be annoyed and will rant about how her daughter didn’t sign up for this. Summer Newman (Hunter King) will definitely be Phyllis’ primary concern.

Phyllis will warn Jack that this is going to turn into a “very, very bloody” custody battle. She’ll feel confident that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will pull out every weapon in his arsenal, but Jack will choose to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Jack will make it clear that Harrison is an Abbott – and Abbotts look out for their own.

In their suite, Summer will assure Kyle that they can get through this. However, she’ll want to be realistic about the adjustments that are coming. Summer will also worry that Kyle’s getting a little ahead of himself when it comes to imagining the future.

Summer will fear Kyle might be setting himself up for heartbreak, but Kyle will insist he won’t let Ashland shut him out of the picture.

In fact, Kyle will have a meeting scheduled with his lawyer to discuss the next steps for having a place in Harrison’s life. Before Kyle heads to that meeting, he’ll sit down for a brief chat with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).

Mariah will encourage Kyle to be honest about some of his fears, so he’ll open up and get a pep talk in return.

Nevertheless, Mariah will seem a bit concerned when she finds out Summer has postponed the wedding. She’ll worry Summer’s battling doubts like she did before, but Kyle will have faith in their future together.

At Society, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancelllor (Melissa Ordway) will talk to Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) about receiving a text from Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) recently.

Abby won’t know what she’d do if she were completely in the dark. She’ll appreciate that she still hears from Chance in small ways, and she’ll look forward to Mariah’s upcoming ultrasound appointment.

Summer will eventually arrive to pick up a takeout order and will seem distraught. When Nina and Abby push her to open up, Summer will describe the situation going on with Kyle, Tara and Harrison – but she’ll frame it as something happening to her “friend.”

Summer will lie about her friend’s boyfriend finding out he had a kid by a woman he had an affair with – something the woman kept quiet for quite some time.

Nina will hint about the woman perhaps having an ulterior motive, but Abby won’t rush to paint her as the villain. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) had her reasons for lying about Abby’s paternity, but it all turned out OK.

Nevertheless, Nina will point out that if this boyfriend had serious feelings for the woman, co-parenting could lead to them rekindling things. The thought of that will concern Summer, who’ll contemplate texting Kyle later before deleting it.

As Summer sits in her hotel room alone, she’ll gaze at her engagement ring pensively.

Back with Kyle, he’ll return to the Abbott mansion and search for Tara as well as Harrison. When they’re nowhere to be found, Kyle will call Jack to see if he’s seen Harrison and Tara.

Jack will admit he hasn’t seen them in a while, so a nervous Kyle will confess that Tara’s gone – and so is his son!

At ChancComm, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will approve the article that undermines the legitimacy of Newman Media. Once legal gives the greenlight, Lily will encourage Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to publish it right away.

Next, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will sit down for a meeting with Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

They’ll try to hash out the details of what a deal between Newman Media and New Hope would look like, but Nick won’t be completely sold when he leaves.

Afterward, Devon will want Nick’s thoughts on the partnership. He’ll remind Nick that it’s their mission at New Hope to give second chances. Devon will think Nick has to decide if Adam deserves another opportunity, too.

At Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) psychiatric facility, she’ll get a visit from Chloe.

Chelsea will insist that being declared not guilty is far from a victory. She’ll rage over Adam getting the restraining order lifted, but Chloe will think that was to be expected under the circumstances.

Chelsea will grow increasingly agitated as she insists Adam is still a danger to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). She’ll insist that it’s getting harder to keep up this ruse to stay out of prison. “I’m sane, I’m fine and I’m perfectly fit to spend time with my son!” Chelsea will shout. “I deserve to see Connor. I deserve to be free.”

Later, Chloe will meet up with Kevin and Miles Fisher in the park. She’ll confess that Chelsea seems to be much worse off than she knows.

Y&R spoilers say Kevin will fret over what’ll happen if Chelsea is seriously unspooling. He’ll be worried about Chloe’s role in all this coming out and will excuse himself to run some errands.

While Chloe’s sitting there with Miles’ stroller, Adam will waltz over with an offer to make. He’ll want to put all the bad blood behind them and will be willing to forgive Chloe for her part in what went down.

Chloe will play dumb and will insist she doesn’t need forgiveness or want anything from Adam.

However, Adam will suggest he’d like to extend an olive branch. He’ll propose giving Chloe an online fashion outlet with his new media company, so Chloe will ask if this is a bribe to get her to back off.

Adam will argue that the offer is legit and will think Chelsea could work on it with Chloe down the road. He’ll think it’d be something for Chelsea to work toward and look forward to after her release.

Chloe won’t be interested in Adam’s offer, but he’ll push her to think it over and let him know what she decides.

At the psychiatric facility, Kevin will stop by to see Chelsea in her room. He’ll think Chelsea needs help, but he’ll be wondering just how much. Kevin will warn that if this is a ruse and it blows up, he’ll hold Chelsea responsible if it comes back to hurt Chloe.

Kevin will want Chelsea to wipe her mind completely of Chloe’s involvement from her outrageous plan.

Chelsea will sense that Kevin really loves Chloe, so she’ll suggest that’s sweet. She’ll add that Adam said he loved her, too – but it was all a lie.

Chelsea will turn away and sulk, so a frustrated Kevin will ask if she’s understanding any of this. When Chelsea remains unresponsive, Kevin will storm out.

Adam will reconvene with Victor, who’ll be mulling over the damaging article that was just published at ChancComm. Victor will think they have to fight back, but Adam will warn that an immediate response will just make them look petty and vindictive.

Victor will agree to wait, but he’ll still want proper retaliation that Billy won’t see coming.

At ChancComm again, Lily and Billy will be smug over how well the article is doing. Billy will assume Adam and Victor will get creative when they retaliate, but Lily won’t be fearful at all. “Let them take their best shot. We got this,” Lily will insist with a smile.

We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news and updates emerge. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily and Billy’s confidence may be shaken sooner or later, so stay tuned! CDL will have other fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news posts to check out, so stick with us.
