The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, October 27 Recap – Chance’s Watch in Rubble – Rey Sick of Sharon Saving Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 27, reveals that Chance Chancellor’s (last played by Donny Boaz) watch will be found in the rubble. Meanwhile, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will be sick of Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)-saving impulse. Here’s what Y&R viewers can look forward to on Wednesday’s dramatic show.

At the Chancellor mansion, Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will have a pic on her phone that she wants Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) to identify. Abby will burst into tears at the sight of it and sink in the chair beneath her.

The photo will be of Chance’s family heirloom watch, which Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) gave him right before the wedding. Although the watch was buried in the explosion rubble, Abby will decide this is a good sign.

The watch was engraved with the name “Philip Chancellor” on it, so Abby won’t think Chance would’ve been wearing it undercover.

Abby will be convinced that Chance is still in hiding and will push everyone else to keep hope alive for his return home.

Later, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have another “baby whisperer” moment with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor since Abby won’t be able to stop his crying.

Abby won’t feel like she can do anything right at the moment, so she’ll leave claiming she wants to get some air.

At the park, Abby will admit she just wanted to be where Chance proposed to her. She’ll tell Chance she’s not giving up on him and will call Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for help.

Back with Devon, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), they’ll want Christine’s honest opinion on whether Chance could’ve survived.

Christina won’t have definitive answers, but she’ll point out that Chance could’ve just taken the watch off for bed. She’ll confess she didn’t want to say that in front of Abby.

Over with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), she’ll predict that things are going to blow up in a good way for Newman Media once Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) joins them.

Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will fear things could blow up in a bad way instead, but Chloe will downplay his concerns.

At Crimson Lights, Adam will listen out of sight as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) calls Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) out for being cynical. Sally will argue that she likes and respects Adam, so Billy will suggest he’ll file that under famous last words.

Next, Adam will waltz over to complain about Billy harassing his employees. He’ll think this reeks of desperation and won’t think Billy gets much work done considering he’s always following his enemy around.

When Billy mentions how it’s a CEO’s job to decimate the competition, Adam will hint that they can agree on that point.

After Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) comes in for coffee, she’ll see Billy and Adam talking from a distance. Lily will admit that doesn’t look good, so Sharon will push her to rein Billy in and get him to leave Adam alone once and for all.

Lily will argue that the discussion seems calm enough – and she’ll add that she doesn’t control Billy anyway. Lily will suggest she’d be surprised if Adam asked Sharon to intervene on his behalf. “Did he?” Lily will ask.

Sharon will spot Rey eavesdropping nearby and cut the conversation short without answering Lily. Once Rey’s alone with Sharon, he’ll want to talk about her chat with Lily.

Rey will think it seemed to involve Sharon’s feelings about Adam, so she’ll admit to overhearing part of Billy’s phone call.

Rey will gripe about Sharon getting involved when he warned her not to, but she’ll argue that Billy was on the phone in a public place.

Sharon will feel like she’s having a natural reaction to what she’s heard and will grumble about Billy always seeing Adam as a monster.

“What do you see? A victim that always needs saving?” Rey will ask. He won’t like that Sharon’s impulse is always to protect Adam, so he’ll suggest they both need some air before walking out.

As for Adam, he’ll thank Sally for defending him and will apologize for being short with her before. Sally will quiz Adam about Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) and the battle that seems to be brewing.

Sally will wonder how concerned she should be about getting caught in the crossfire, but Adam will assure Sally there’s no threat to her.

Even so, Sally will track Chloe down to warn her they may have another problem on their hands. She’ll be worried about the impending war and will want to talk about how they can shield their breakout fashion success from the fallout.

Back with Rey, he’ll tell Kevin that Adam is like a “chronic disease.” Kevin will fret over Chloe playing with fire and will think Adam is going to land himself in prison for good this time. He’ll add that day can’t come soon enough!

At ChancComm, Billy will insist Gaines is like the invisible man. There’s no evidence that Gaines left Italy by train, plane or rental car, so Billy will suggest maybe he’s still in hiding – or perhaps he’s six feet under.

Lily won’t think the Newmans are capable of that, but Billy will argue that finding Gaines dead or alive is their best weapon.

Lily will argue that they can’t just rely on Gaines, who may not even want to talk if he’s found. She’ll think Billy should reach out to Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) and see if she can convince Victor to stand down.

Avoiding the war entirely would be best in Lily’s eyes, so Billy will text Victoria to ask if they can talk.

At Newman Media, Adam will speak with Victor’s go-to private investigator about doing some investigative work. He’ll insist this must be done in the strictest confidence.

Adam will contend that no one can know except them and Victor, so the Newman PI will look on board and ready to dig.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam’s mission could bring some shockers, so keep watching!
